Last year we were able to use Quickbooks to send in our 1099s. This year we are paying twice as much and yet we don't have this option without upgrading our service? Am am set up to send them directly to IRS. Is this an easy / better option?

Let's work together to find the most cost-effective method for submitting your 1099s this year, ensuring it aligns well with your business needs, TedRooney.  I'm here to guide you through your options and help identify the best solution. We'll review everything.

If you're using the standalone option, it's essential to understand that each form incurs a fee. It can add up, especially if you have multiple forms to file.

On the other hand, QuickBooks Online Payroll includes e-filing as part of the subscription, making it a cost-effective and streamlined choice for many businesses.

If you want to do a manual process through IRS, you can find the details here.

Moreover, understanding these options can help you make an informed decision that fits your needs.
