To ensure an accurate filling and printing with your 1099-NEC we have to make sure that your QuickBooks Desktop Mac is updated with the latest version.

However, if the issue still persist despite having an updated device I suggest reaching out to our QuickBooks Desktop Mac Support team. This way, they can investigate the issue more thoroughly and assist you promptly.

Here's how:

1. Navigate to the Help menu, then select QuickBooks Help.
2. Click Contact Us.
3. Provide a brief description of your issue to Continue.
4. Sign in to your Intuit account and then select Continue with my account.
5. Check your email for the single-use code and enter it to Continue.
6. Choose a way to connect, you can either choose chat with us or Have us call you.

Additionally, you can refer to this link to reach IRS if you have questions about the corrected form. Correct or change 1099s in QuickBooks.

Each of your vendors that are receiving a 1099 will need to have it in the following format (name, street address, city state zip):

Name

123 Main St

Tucson, AZ 85706

You can run a Vendor Contact List report to see the information for all of your Vendors, most likely one or more of your vendors is missing a City for their address.  Once you update the Vendor(s) you should be able to upload your 1099's.
