I submitted 940& 041 on January 2,2025 IT ONLY SAYS SUBMITTED TO INTUIT. It doesn't say submitted to agency or accepted we are now January 11,2025 I'm a little worried because it doesn't let me submit again

Once you've filed your forms, you’ll get an email confirmation within 24-48 hours. Or, check their statuses within QBDT payroll.

 

Here's how to verify payment statuses:

 

1. Choose Employees, then Payroll Center.

2. From the Payroll Center, pick the File Forms tab.

3. Select the E-Filings tab, in the Filing History section,

4. If the status isn't updating, toggle between the Saved Filings tab and the E-filings tab.

5. Choose the View link in the Audit Trail column for more details.

  • Submitted to Intuit - The electronic payment or e-filed form has been successfully submitted to Intuit.
  • Intuit rejected - The e-payment or e-filed form submitted to Intuit has been rejected. This rejection can result from discrepancies in the information provided or from server connection issues.
  • Submitted to the agency - Intuit has submitted the electronic payment or e-filed form to the agency.
  • Agency rejected - The agency rejected the e-payment or e-filed form. And sent a rejection message (and solution).
  • The agency accepted - The e-payment or e-filed form was successfully processed by the agency. And the transaction is complete.

I'm having the same problem.  Filed January 2 2025, still have not received confirmation from QBs that the Feds have processed tax form.

After you've filed your forms, an email confirmation should arrive from Intuit within 24-48 hours after filing your forms. Sometimes, these emails can get filtered into spam or other folders by mistake. Here’s how to locate it:

 

  1. Check Your Inbox: Look for an email from Intuit in your main inbox.
  2. Spam/Junk Folder: Sometimes, these emails can get mistakenly flagged. Check your spam or junk folder.
  3. Promotions/Social Tabs: If you use Gmail, check the Promotions or Social tabs as the email may be categorized there.
  4. Search Function: Use the search bar in your email and try searching for keywords like "Intuit," "QuickBooks," or "confirmation."

 

If you haven’t seen it yet, don’t worry, you can also check the submission status directly in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) Payroll.

 

  1. Select Employees from the main menu, then Payroll Center.
  2. From the Payroll Center, select the Pay Liabilities tab.
  3. In the Payment History section, select the E-Payments tab.
  4. If the status isn't updating, toggle between the All Payments tab and the E-Payment tab. This will refresh the list.
  5. Select the View link in the Audit Trail column for more details.
