Automatic Tax Calculations STILL(!!!!) Not Fixed

This is why QB will continue to receive a 1/10 on "Recommend to your friends" from us!

 

QB STILL has not fixed the automatic tax calculations based on locations for recurring transactions. I'm having to manually edit, calculate, and re-save dozens of invoices monthly that are automatically calculated from QB's "automation". So ridiculous. Does anyone have any workaround for this?

However, if you are still experiencing this problem, we recommend contacting our customer care team. They have the expertise and tools to assist you effectively. If they identify a broader issue, they will conduct a thorough investigation and keep you informed via email.

     

    Here’s how you can contact our customer care team:

     

    1. Go to the Help menu.
    2. Select the Search option.
    3. Click on the Contact Us button to provide details of your concern.
    4. Proceed by clicking Continue. 

       

    In the meantime, manually editing for calculations is the recommended workaround as we strive to resolve this efficiently.

    This doesn't work still, and customer service isn't helpful with this - we've spent hours on the phone with them only for them to not be able to figure it out.

      Have you had any resolve to this issue?  I just started having to collect sales tax in my state for services and it won't collect for county taxes, only state taxes.  I have been on the phone with them three times.  The only thing I can do is add a combined tax of state and county but I have to remember to click that on every invoice.  This is ridiculous.

        We have just discovered this as well. I kept wondering why every time I did my Sales Tax forms, we always owed more than what Quickbooks says!! This is super frustrating, especially since we pay outrageous amounts to use the software and fees! I am no longer using this feature and I have to look up every address for each customer!
