Error Filing 1099 NEC

I get this error when trying to file 1099 NEC through QB - I need to get all two of them filed today. How do I resolve the error below?

Let's go through some troubleshooting steps so you can resume filing 1099s for your contractors in QuickBooks Online (QBO). 

 

Sometimes, browsers can behave unexpectedly when loaded with frequently accessed pages. To resolve this, try signing into your QBO account using an incognito window. Here are the keyboard shortcuts for different browsers: 

 

  • For Google Chrome browser: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • For Mozilla Firefox browser: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • For Safari browser: Command + Shift + N

 

Once done, file your 1099s again. If you did not encounter the error message, return to your original browser to clear its cache or utilize another compatible one. It's possible that there's a temporary issue with QBO or the browser you're using.
