I need to access my records from 2022 and earlier. I see no way to do that. Can you guide me in the right direction?

Thanks for choosing QuickBooks to manage your business, @Maxprospect. I'll provide the necessary steps to access your records from 2022 and earlier in QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE).

QBSE calculates deductions based on the data from categorized transactions synced from your bank. Therefore, accessing your prior year Schedule C deductions would depend on how the transactions from 2022 are categorized.

First, let's start by ensuring that the transactions in 2022 exist in the Transactions tab and are categorized. Here's how:

  1. Go to Transactions.
  2. Select Custom from the Date drop-down list and filter it to 2022.
  3. Ensure that the transactions are categorized.

Once you've ensured that the transactions are categorized correctly, navigate to the Taxes page to see the 2022 Schedule C Deductions. Follow these steps:

  1. Go to Reports.
  2. Scroll down to the Tax summary report.
  3. From the tax year drop-down, choose 2022 tax year.
  4. Click on View.
  5. Review the data under Schedule C Deductions.

Additionally, you can refer to the article below for assistance in obtaining transaction information in QuickBooks Self-Employed: Export transactions and get reports in QuickBooks Self-Employed.

I'm only a comment away if you have any questions throughout the process of accessing your data in QuickBooks Self-Employed. Take care and enjoy your weekend!
