Why does my 1099 Wizard show the wrong year?

Since you've updated your program to its latest release yet the issue continues, I suggest contacting our QuickBooks Desktop Mac support team. That way, they can further investigate the issue securely and may create a ticket for investigation if needed.

Here's how:
 

1. Go to the Help menu, then select QuickBooks Help.
2. Select Contact Us.
3. Give a brief description of your issue to Continue.
4. Sign in to your Intuit account and then click Continue with my account.
5. Check your email for the single-use code and enter it to Continue.
6. Select a way to connect, you can either choose to chat with us or Have us call you.

Which version of QuickBooks Mac are you running?  Also, when you are inside of QuickBooks if you go to Help and select Product Information what does the Product Line show the 'R' value?

After you check the Product Information and find your version and release you can compare it against what I listed below, those are the current versions and releases needed for that to work.

QuickBooks Desktop Mac 2024 - Release R7 

QuickBooks Desktop Mac 2023 - Release R12.2 

QuickBooks Desktop Mac 2022 - Release R7.3 

If for some reason QuickBooks is not detecting the current update for your version, I would go to the following website and download the version from there, it should contain the latest update for each version.
