One payment is imported from my bank and the other is posted as a journal when recording VAT return payment. I can reconcile the one, but the other has to be "Excluded" which is messy.
A lot of bank transactions have arrived and some have got possible connections to invoices marked against them. Most outgoings have no details apart from the amount. How do I reconcile these payments and mark them as entered into QBO?
I wonder if anyone is able to provide an answer on this! I have received payments in my bank (Barclays) however, despite numerous attempts to link and pull this data through to unreviewed transactions, QBSE is just not picking them up. They came through to my bank on a Saturday and its now Sunday with no update in QBSE. Is there a delay by the bank in making these available on the feed or is QBSE just lagging behind and in need of a gentle kick! TIA
Hi,Our current account in QB exactly matches the live account details.BUT QB gives me a list of overdue amounts from a few different clients, that I can see have been paid.(In terms of changing records, we pay VAT via the flat rate scheme.)I've tried:1. Sales Transactions (list of those that are overdue). Action "Receive Payment" and put in the date of the payment. This adds a new payment for that date. It does not link it to the payment already in the reconciled bank account, which then becomes unmatched (live Vs what is in QB goes wrong by the amount of the invoice payment. Looking at the "Bank Account History" I can see 2 x the payment. Due to being on Flat Rate VAT and this being in a period where the return has been made, I can't delete the old one, but I can delete the new one created by this "Receive Payment" and so put the QB Bank balance back to in-line with the real world bank account.2. Hi, I'm trying to add a business account to Quickbooks, when I try to do this, quickbooks, says there is a message waiting for me on my bank account. I then go round this loop again, there is no message waiting for me on my bank account when I login. This is frustrating. How do I fix this please? Thanks Vinay
Have some accounts been disabled from being used with QBO? I was previously able to link with the account and get automatic downloads.
I am trying to set up a bank rule and I want to choose sales receipt as the transaction type but it doesnt appear in the drop down list. Can anyone help?
