How do i activate view my paycheck?

I keep getting messages saying We weren't able to show your payroll info. I have tried the trouble shooting and cleared my browser history. I continue to get the same message

Allow me to share some insights about this problem. The Workforce error "We weren't able to show your payroll info", is currently tagged as an ongoing issue for QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online. Our engineers are working internally with the fixes so we can't provide the exact turnaround time on when this will be resolved.

 

We instead send live updates about the status of the investigation through email. To add your account to the notification list, please contact our Support Team.

 

Live Support are available from 6:00 AM until 6:00 PM on weekdays, and 6:00 AM til 3:00 PM on Saturday. If you can't reach us during this time, you can request a callback so you won't have to wait on the line.

 

Please provide the investigation number INV-44024 to our representatives.


Also, here are some workarounds recommended by our engineers. First, ensure there are no special characters in the employee's name. You can also try re-sending the invitation to a different email address.

My problem has been ongoing for a couple of months now. STILL unable to access my paycheck. When I'm signed in, it goes to a page that states: "We weren't able to show your payroll info Refreshing your screen often fixes the problem."' And no, refreshing the screen does not work.

Our engineers have been alerted about the issue (27926) of missing in the employer's or employee's QuickBooks Workforce account. They're working with the utmost urgency to come up for a permanent fix.

 

I recommend contacting our QuickBooks Workforce Support to receive updates on this. From there, you'll be notified once a resolution has been released.

As of now, I'd recommend getting in touch with our QuickBooks Workforce Support for further investigation and for you to be added to the list of affected users.

 

To get in touch with a live support:

 

  1. Go to: http://static.onlinepayroll.intuit.com/Support/Support_QBD.html.
  2. Click on the Live Chat! link under the ViewMyPaycheck Support page.

Just know that the support agents are available Mon-Fri, 6AM to 6PM PT (except holidays).

Let me share two scenarios and help you activate ViewMyPaycheck (or now called QuickBooks Workforce).

 

If you're the employer, you'll need to set up for QuickBooks Workforce for the paycheck information to automatically upload to Intuit's servers. To do so, you can follow the steps below:

 

  1. In your QuickBooks Online, select the Workers menu from the left panel.
  2. Select Employees.
  3. In the Pay section, select the pencil icon.
  4. Add your employee's email address in the Personal info section.
  5. Select Invite this employee to view their paystubs and W-2s online.
  6. Click Done.

After which, the invitation will be emailed to your employee.

But if you're the employee, you can inform your employer to send you an email invite so you can sign in to ViewMyPaycheck. To proceed on signing in, you can read this article for the detailed steps and information: QuickBooks Workforce: Access your Paychecks and W-2’s online.

Thanks for posting your concern here in the Community. I'm glad to know you got a new phone. I'm here to help ensure you're able to access your W-2 in QuickBooks Workforce. 

 

If you're an employee, first off, ensure you're using one of the following browsers in order to view your W-2s online:

 

  • Google Chrome
  • Mozilla Firefox
  • Apple Safari

 

Finally, you can go to paychecks.intuit.com. Then, follow steps below: 

 

  1. Sign in to your account.
  2. Select the W-2 tab. You'll need to select this tab. As long as W-2s have been uploaded, employees' W-2s will appear.

It keeps asking me to refresh my screen  but it won't refresh what do I do

You can use another supported browser such as Chrome or Firefox so you can view your paychecks.

 

If it still asks to refresh the page, please clear the browser's historical data. Unresponsive behavior when accessing Workforce can be a browser-related issue.

How to i get to my account it, keeps taking to this screen that says not able to view paystubs??

I'll help you get to your Workforce account, Drmoore879.

 

Please make sure you've received the invitation from your employer. This invite is valid for 30 days. If you have it, open the email, then click the Get access for paychecks link. From there, you can create your account, or sign in using an existing one. 

 

If you're still unable to access your account, please follow GarlynGay's steps on how to clear the historical data. Unexpected program behavior can be caused by too much cache.

The Admin or the payroll processor can send the invite for you to access the paychecks online. I recommend reaching out to your employer and ask them to resend the invitation.

 

Once received, open the email and click the Get access for paychecks link to accept it. Create an Intuit account, or sign in using existing credentials. For more details, take a look at this article: QuickBooks Workforce: Access your paychecks and W-2's online.
