Good day all, When dealing with Foreign Supplier Bills, we enter them using the prevailing exchange rates on day of import. Each Foreign Supplier has their own account setup in the Currency of the Supplier (GBP). We then pay Foreign Suppliers about 30 - 60 days later using either of the two methods shown below. (I have shown currencies below as USD and GBP, as the currencies we use in our region are not very common.) 1) Paying Foreign Supplier from Local Bank Account held in Home Currency (USD). - The foreign supplier is paid from our Local Bank Account held in Home Currency (USD). The bank converts this to Foreign Currency (GBP).- USD amount actually deducted by the bank divided by the GBP Invoice amount gives us the actual Exchange Rate used, and this is entered in the 'Exchange Rate' field in the 'Pay Bills' Window leading to either Exchange Gains / Losses. I've now filed the data using HMRC Basic Tools software, so just need to delete these old EPS files. There is no option to just delete them, and clicking on the 'File outside of Quickbooks' just makes the software hang, and when refreshing it shows an error saying 'Please try again' for several hours. I repeat the process and the same thing happens.

I have went through the steps to connect my bank account. It all goes smoothly until the very last step where you click ‘Save’ at the end. The button doesn’t seem to work and I am stuck on that screen. I then get an email to say my bank account has been connected and it shows I have a connected bank account on my QuickBooks dashboard. But, if I tap on it in QuickBooks it gets me to connect the account again. This process repeats over and over. I can’t record any of my invoices as paid, so would love to get this sorted.

I signed for up SE a short while ago but didn't realised that it didn't include the ebay intergration app. I've never had to do a self assesment before as this is my first year but I'm quite unsure what needs to be recorded in QB. I can see no easy way for QBSE to import all the Ebay data, so all I've done at the moment is record the payments from Ebay, which of course is after all fees, postage etc. So from a self assessment point of view, what are HNRC interested in, do they need to see the full details of each ebay transaction or are they only interested in what Ebay actuall pay me after fees etc?

Is anyone else finding the app not working? Even after restarting, it consistently says “This’ll just take a few seconds”.Quickbooks you need to sort your tech out - So out of date, it’s 2025 and your customers deserve better!!
