Question

Ever since the update last week report filtering hasn't been working. Has anyone else experience this bug?

It particularly happens on this report:

Reports>Jobs Time & Mileage>Time by Job Detail

Customize report>filters> then I select either "name" or "customer: Job"

it doesn't filter, and it shows you all time in the date range.

Same.. did you get a fix?

Same problem here.    Just started 8 days ago, otherwise worked like a charm before.   I have done 3 rebuilds with reverifying in between, to no avail.  Sample program thing didn't help.

My problem happens with the  Time by Name reports and my memorized reports with that,    as well as when I do time by job detail.

NOTE: there was a critical release today......It didn't fix the fact that you would get all dates when you want something specific,   it didn't fix the fact that when I filter,  it wouldn't 'take,    even though it has it in the filter box,   but it didn't crash when I tried to use it, as it has been.    So a very minor step forward ?

Please fix this.....I know you are working on it.

Yes, I have QB Desktop 2021 and am experiencing this same issue since the latest update was installed.  I've called, chatted, uninstalled and reinstalled QB and tried to use the Toolhub to fix the file to no avail.  We really need and use this Time By Job Detail for our invoicing on a weekly basis.  I'm not sure how to even talk with QB about this issue as they transferrred me four times to different departments.  So how do I get on the list to get information on a fix for this?  Or is there even a timeline for a fix?

I am also still having this issue and this functionality is critical to my job.

My data is fine. I've sent the error reports.

Nothing.

Same issue here with QBDT 2021 for the last 2 weeks. We need a fix not a 'just upgrade to the newest version' solution please.

Having the similar issue but with QB Desktop Accountant 2021. Tried everything is this thread but it only fixes temporarily. Need a perminant fix.

I have been having the same issue for a couple of weeks.  The only fix I have found is to uninstall and reinstall the program.  It will work the next time you open the program.  It breaks again once you close and reopen the program.  I agree with the thread of users.  To force us to upgrade is not an acceptable solution.  I pay an annual subscription and have not upgraded due to the discontinuation of the loan manager.  No explanation and no intent on bringing it back even though QB has received many complaints.  QB was a great program, but as the user base grew they disconnected from their customers.

Has anyone out there gotten a response to this issue.  I keep talking with the help desk, but to this point I have not received any help on this issue.  They say they are working on it , but it has been over a month.
