Hi, I'm trying to write a web service feed to pass invoices from our booking system to QB Pro 2021. I've tried to follow the instructions under "Set up QuickBooks Web Connector" article: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/learn-support/en-uk/install-products/set-up-quickbooks-web-connector/00/239305 However under step 2 I do not have an Update Web Service option under the File menu. I'm using the trial version and need to prove this works before I purchase the software. Any helpful suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks,Paul
The rest of the app seems to be correct, shows my expenses over the last 30days etc and in expenses. I'm using the QB online App, I've tried clearing cach and refresh data

I have linked my shopify store to QBO via an app by bold that pushes all the sales into qbo from shopify. The trouble is that shopify or the app has created a VAT code within QBO which I am unable to edit within QBO. This VAT code is not being picked up by the VAT return. My accountant has to go into each sale that has been created in QBO and manually change the vat code to one that is picked up by the vat return. I have contacted QBO about this but they have not been able to help neither have the app developers. Has anyone else had this issue and is there a way around it
Trying to save time I subscribed to MilesIQ as it showed as a milage tracker import option in QBSE UK. The app drives information is clear and accurate and it looked like a good idea. I have since discovered that MileIQ does not have an export as CVS format option in their UK version of the app and there is no information on how to convert a downloaded XLS file to a QBSE acceptable CVS format. Searching through questions and answers I still don't know how to import from MileIQ to QBSE UK - I have tried a workaround but just get an error message. I can import banking information so understand how to edit XLS and save as CVS and then import into QBSE transactions in four column layout. Please can you advise on how to do this with MileIQ as the information isn't easily found on this site. Thanks!
Hello QuickBookians,Small translation busness in the UK here.We deal with small projects (typically £30 to £3,000). Due to growth, we start to generating quite some project admin.Typically, we email the client a quote for every project - yep, even the small ones ;-(.Client confirms by return of email, project becomes live, we gather all the details (name of file, planned delivery date, name of linguist in charge, cost, plus a couple of text fields) on a shared Google Spreadsheet (that the project manager, the client and myself can access at any time). We invoice each month, copying manually the infos from the Googel Spreadsheet into QuickBooks online. Urgh. All very 19th century. We are looking for a 3rd party app that:1./ would not cost a bomb and require a PhD in applied IT to run2/ could "keep everything under the same roof (e.g. we enter the w quote, it gets emailed to client, client click a link for acceptance, we get notified, process the project, mark project as good to invo
Hi, sorry I'm new to QBO. I was wondering how I match a purchase order that has been synced from Quickbooks Commerce with an invoice that has a different price. We are a little bit behind with some price changes. I need to pay the invoice amount and not the purchase order amount. I scanned the invoice in and matched it to the PO (bill) that had been synced. It is showing the amount to pay as the PO amount which is lower than the invoice. When I edit the payment amount it says 'This transaction will create an additional credit in the amount of £18.63' If anyone can help with the correct workflow that would be great.
Hi everybody I wonder if anybody can help me get my head around how I am supposed to use the card reader with my QuickBooks account. First a little bit of information about what I do as a business and this might help you understand how I intend to use QuickBooks with iZettle. I’m Autoelectrician And I work mobile going around garages and private customers helping them with their cars problems. I always issue an invoice from QuickBooks detailing all the information of what I’ve done to the cars including any parts used et cetera. Most garages pay bank transfer or cash but I’ve noticed recently that one or two private customers don’t have cash and don’t have Internet access or at least Internet banking, so I’ve acquired this iZettle card reader to help me out in those situations.I’ve read numerous posts about how to integrate the card reader accounting system into QuickBooks but I can’t seem to find a solution that fits and is one which allows me to continue to send an invoice to my cust
