I set up a bank deposit for PayPal funds like I used to when it was set up like a bank account feed but with app transaction interface, I can't match with my deposit. It's imperative that I be able to do this because there is a high level of detail in the lump sum that's in my PayPal deposit. Do I have to accept PayPal app transaction in some general catch-all account then match to a deposit when I transfer to my bank?
My deposits are showing in the bank registry as a deposit and a payment. Is this correct or is this something should look into.

I had to import bank transactions that didn't auto-import. Now rules don't apply to those. How can I apply a Split rule to an imported transaction? Where do I even find the rules I've created?
We have a pmt that QB is trying to match to 9 different transactions. NONE are a match. How do I get it "matched" if there isn't a match. Its an overpayment
all of a sudden bank account balance doesn't show is register show N/A in the column
depositing more than one check on one invoice
My bank no longer connects to quickbooks and is supposed to have it fixed by the end of april. HOwever, I need to get my transactions entered. I downloaded the transactions but QB gives me an error no matter which account I attempt to import into.
Our regular bank was recently merged with a new bank who does not offer Direct Connect. We have reverted to our backup bank which does offer the service.Trying to pay bills now, Quickbooks Desktop Pro Plus 2022 does not allow us to use this Vendor with Bill pay because it is already considered an Online Payee with the previous bank. We have tried:Disabling Online banking for a single bankDisabling Online Banking for all AccountsWe've sent our Company file to Data Services to remove the flagAnd we cannot use Quickbooks Online Payments as they do not offer the service in Vermont. We have thousands of Vendors. Has anyone found a solution for this?
I did some searching but couldn't find my exact question so thought I would post it here. Apologies if this has been asked and answered already! For my business I have three accounts: Treasury, Savings, and Checking. The account totals from the bank match the amounts in the Treasury and Savings accounts no problem, but there is a persistent gap in the Checking account (for example my bank balance shows $1,000 but "In Quickbooks" shows $500). When I run reconciliation, it says everything looks good because the all-time transaction total sums to the bank balance ($1,000), but that doesn't match the Quickbooks total. How can the reconciliation and Quickbooks totals not match?
o collect a third-party rebate in QuickBooks Online Essentials when it is in lieu of the customer, follow these steps:
My bank account is connected to QBO and syncs just fine. However, I just found out that it's not recognizing the DEBIT transactions from my business debit card. It all shows up on the same bank statement for me, so I don't understand why QB doesn't see those transactions. It's not a separate account, so I can't "connect" it. How do people manage debit cards?
I can connect the bank through the QuickBooks app but it does not sync up with QuickBooks online, it still shows the bank is not connected. This is for a client that won't give out their online banking username & password & their particular bank only stays connected for about 14 days straight, so I thought the solution would be to have them connect the bank through the app they downloaded but it hasn't worked. Any idea why?

I've been on the phone with QB for 4 hours yesterday and no one can help change the number (due to MFA needed to change).I have been unable to transfer my QB funds to my WF bank account for 10 days now. Please help!
I data entered all my bank statements for 2024, was able to Reconcile Dec., 2023 fine, when I went to reconcile Jan., ’24, the Reconcile screen “Greyed out”, making it No oprtion to click the “Lower right hand BLUE “Reconcile” button, or the “Leave” button…it’s like I’m stuck, in limbo. The (purchased, Thankfully!!) 2019 QB Mac program isn’t corrupt, because I was able to reconcile, and then later same day (it was ;left open), running), not- just the Greyed out Screenn [removed] - SEE PICTURE. When I try to import the missing data, I get a message saying that the data is already there. I have had the same problem for the last few years.
Hi! I'm a book keeper for a small non profit and could use some advice trying to balance our credit card account in QBO. External to quickbooks, my organization’s bank generates a master account, through which we can pay off all (2) of our credit card accounts. This account reflects all transactions made with both of our credit cards. This creates (3) accounts which link to our QBO: One for card 1, one for card 2, and one for the master account. For the past few years, these (3) accounts have been separately linked to our bank. Per our accountant’s suggestion, I recently turned the master account into a parent account, then turned the two cards into sub-accounts (and unlinked them from the bank). The master account had been reconciled through the previous month, but the ‘Quickbooks Balance’ was off by about $30,000. I believe this is because of the period of time when the master and card accounts were both separately linked to the bank. To remedy this discrepancy,
