I have been unable to connect to my bank since the beginning of the month. I reached out last week and was told that it is being worked on. I received an email stating that my account has been attached to the list of affected users under INV-109540 and that the issue has been reported to the engineering department and being prioritized. The issue is STILL ongoing and since, I'm sure, most of us are trying to run businesses - this is a very integral part of our processes. What is really being done to solve this problem? I cannot wait for weeks to get this resolved. I have tried the suggestions given before, which is how I ended up being added to the list of affected users. How are we going to be compensated for all of this missing time?
I have a downloaded Bank transaction that is not correct. Per its date, there was no such transaction (it appeared with a date from about 10 months ago). There was a more recent transaction that matches the amount, but that has since been entered and reconciled. For some reason, the memo lists the date of the recent transaction, yet the date itself is old. For this erroneous, past-dated transaction, I Exclude it but it keeps reappearing when I Update the Bank Transactions. How can I get it to stop downloading this transaction that doesn't exist?

I have two accounts one called "Loan from shareholders and one "Loan to shareholders". One shareholder has got a payback from previously added funds to the company so it's not a loan. How do I record this? Do I have to make a new account?

Hey, I have an AMEX high yield savings account, which is linked with my AMEX Corporate/Business account, but when I try adding it, all my others account but the Savings Account appear on the list. I’m unable to add my High Yield Savings Account to Quickbooks. How can I have someone take a look at this for me?
Hello all. Firstly Let me begin by saying I'm completely new to this. The business manager who handled everything QB related retired and I have been assigned to handle things until someone else can be brought in. I'm trying to reconcile one of our credit accounts that we have with a vendor. When I go to the reconciliation screen, the previous statement balance is listed in the Payments and Credits column, but none of the charges are listed. They have been put in the system and the bill has already been paid, but I don't know how to reconcile this. Good Afternoon, I apologize ahead of time for my lack of knowledge in this area but that's why I'm here, hoping someone can shed some light. We use TD Bank for all our banking. Our accounts are directly connected with QBO. When our invoices are sent there is a review and pay link in the email the customers use to make payment. The system records the payment and when the payment hits the bank it comes through and gets applied with the daily banking update. TD is stating is we use their plug in they can save us some money from what we currently pay for fees to QBO for receiving cc and ACH payments. Is anyone out there who uses this plugin? What would differ in process if we do this? Right now I really don't have to do a thing as all the info is imported from the bank. Will there be further steps involved if I use this plugin? What happens to the review and pay link that is sent in the email body when I invoice? Any input is g
American Express has been updated, and I need to deactivate the bank feed. Problem is it wants to complete the last connection before I can deactivate. Any help?

Curious on how to process the "Internet Payment" and Auto Pmt on the credit card processing. We have downloaded transactions from the bank and matched and cleared the charges and credits that appeared on the cards, but we aren't sure how to process and clear/apply these payments. In the past, we marked these to "Ignore", and then we did the Banking | Write Checks for the amounts and date to apply to the credit card liability account, but I'm assuming that since the payment transactions are downloaded with other transactions, there must be a way in the credit card processing to apply these. Probably really obvious and I'll feel like an idiot when I'm told what the process is, but ..... Be gentle .... thanks.
Hi,I was adding bank transactions and one came in that is 10 cents more than what I wrote the check out to be. I wrote the check out for 10,312.27 and the bank cleared it for 10,312.37. Ugh!I have not "added" because it does not match anything. How do I fix this? The check I wrote was to pay for two bills so it is a split check. Thank you for any help and guidance!
I have been trying to Categorize Banking transactions in the "For review" section by using the "Find Match" feature and for some transactions the find transaction doesn't find Invoices that I know do not have a match. I've been using the "Find Match" feature since 2020 so I'm well aware on how to use it at this point, but I am starting to get annoyed that it doesn't find all invoices that are unmatched or unresolved. For clarity, I have a Shopify store that is connected to QBO and auto-generates Invoices and Payments that are made through the Store and my Bank Account is connected to QBO and is fully updated. We get paid through Shopify and those payments have fees that get taken out prior to being deposited. So the deposit doesn't match the Invoice amount, which is fine because "Find Match" allows you to "Resolve" the difference which is a big help. But if the Invoice doesn't even show up in "Find Match" then I cant do anything. Here's an example (fake numbers for security):

I don’t have an option to receive payment from a customer when the customer has written a check to my business. How on earth does quickbooks expect me to deposit these funds without giving me the option to deposit a check?
10-06-22I've not been able to download credit card transactions from Chase. I called Chase and they said transactions can only be downloaded directly from their website (not using QB). I have the file downloaded (QBO) and ready to upload into QB, however, when trying to import using Web Connect it brings up some of my accounts but not the Chase account. What am I doing wrong?
After downloading credit card charges, there is a report where we assign the GL account to each individual charge. We are not downloading charges for each individual card number, but instead downloading all charges to our master card account for each month. On the report, we are wondering if there is a way to sort or group the report detail into the specific cardholders sequence so we can more easily and quickly review the charges in order to assign the appropriate GL code. Or because we aren't downloading each card detail individually is that not a possibility? The individual card # has to be present in the bank's overall file structure (in order to break out the charges for each cardholder), so if that data was part of the download, such a sort would be possible. Of course, QB would have to pull in that data to the report to enable users to access it .... ???
If I try to edit a deposit, it have to scroll the 30 transactions before I get to the actual entry that needs editing. It's just a pain to have to scroll through all of it.
Hey everyone, Just to be clear, I'm not asking this question - I have an actual answer to this problem that's simple & really works: When the bank transactions feed is stuck in a perpetual loop of updating, simply re-order the position of your accounts. It can be as simple as changing the position of just 1 account. Doing this refreshes them & allows you to update things properly. You can then re-order them back to how they were originally. Hope this helps!
After almost 20 hours over the last 4 weeks spent trying to solve the Chase Bank Feeds issues created with the recent change to a "more secure transfer" method, I am rather fed up with both QuickBooks and Chase Bank. QuickBooks Teams and other helpful sorts, please do not post any suggested fixes or solutions as I've been through them all including: 1-creating a new company folder to test bank feed setups, 2-adding user rights, 3-deleting existing user bank feed rights, 4-recreating existing user bank feed rights, 5-creating new users with bank feed rights, 6-disconnecting bank feeds and reconnecting (multiple times), 7-installing updates (multiple times) and 8-upgrading from v22 to v23 (a "guaranteed fix" according to that QB support person). I also don't want any sympathy or empathy. I want lost features and functionalities restored. I've spent more time training
When I linked accounts I only picked 2024 transactions but would now like to have 2023 transactions showing. My bank doesn't give me the option to export 2023 transactions in CSV, I can only download the 2023 statements in PDF. Will I have to unlink and re-link?
I have used quickbooks online for over a decade as Fenix Automotive and now for 7 months as a new company called Fenix Automotive Design. We have processed million of dollars thru quickbooks and paid hundreds of thousands in fees. I processed a roughly 10k ACH on July 11th and it got delayed. Customer has even verified money has come out of their account days ago. We have made VERY sure that we have next day funding set up and it's always worked until now out of the blue. Ive processed amounts greater than this no issue, alway next day funded. Now this gets put on hold and the customer service is completely lost, can't tell me why, says they have no control over anything and nothing can be done. Quickbooks rep named "Mica" and case 15120927419. She wouldn't tell me her employee id or any way to reference the call when I asked and began to laugh at me.
