However, one credit card deposit for example can include items sold on HST (general) and PST(Kids). Which tax code should I use when I match it ?
I have been paying my vendor by EFT and recently one of my vendors changed bank accounts. I sent an EFT and it was returned to me because the vendors bank account was closed. I have already done the bank rec, but how do I account for the returned payment with out messing up the bank rec?
Sales Tax Item is not available on drop down item list on Daily Sales Summary. Item is showing on my Item List... but not showing as available when recording sales on Summary.
I want to be able to see the USD revenue in USD (home currency is CAD). Currently CAD and USD sales are going into the same ledger. I want to be able to run a report that shows me how much was collected from the USD account IN USD funds. I think I'll have to create a new revenue ledger for just the USD funds, but even then, is there a way to see it in USD? (I have a multi-currency account)
I've paid for many business expenses for my Incorporated Canadian company through my personal credit card. When I made these transactions for the business I created a Shareholder Loan - Long Term and Short Term account, and would put those exact charges into the appropriate sections to keep track of what I owe myself.Because these expenses were paid from my personal Credit Card, how do I move the money to an account as a positive number to use to pay for things? For example I paid for my webhosting with my personal credit card. I make an entry in my Shareholder Loan account for $120.00 on the same date as the transaction (to keep track of what my company owes me). Now I need to put this money some where, and make an expense entry under Advertising and Promotion for $120.00. What is the correct step?Thank you.
