Totally at my wits end:QB claims to produce a file suitable for upload in North Carolina Unemployment Quarterly filing. I first checked with NCDES and they tell me that QB needs to produce a compatible .csv file but what they are producing is some kind of text file. It is not only I having issues with this. I have very simply been trying to find out from QB support if they are aware of the problem and when it might be fixed. When I try to upload the file, I just get a list of errors stating invalid and missing info, upload failed. Is anyone else having these same issues, have you been able to resolve (and how?) Of course, I have had 2 phone calls to QB and started 2 different Chat sessions. Ran the gamut from 'I'm not a Payroll person, you need to request Payroll (I did!) to call back with no one on the line to interrupted chat to a chat asking for my license # & some other irrelevant info, then abruptly abandoning the chat. The usual with QB. Last

How do I pull employees pay stub?
While Quickbooks has been withholding the state disability correctly since the beginning of the year, it is not showing that new rate on my state's quarterly contribution return. It still shows the old rate from last year!

How do I add Commissions to an employee? I am trying to bring 1st Quarter information into online QuickBooksAdd details (optional):
The California payroll SDI tax rate is 1.10% for 2024. HOWEVER, the CA-DE9 report shows an SDI rate of 0.90% in QuickBooks Online! Therefore, the QuickBooks Online DE9 filing report indicates an overpayment.
Hello, I'm having problems finding the answer to this question anywhere online. The company I work for has over 40 employees, our pay periods are 1st-15th and 16th-30th/31st. The issue I'm having is figuring out is when I'm depositing payroll tax liabilities what quarter they go into when moving into another quarter. So for instance this recent pay period of 3/16 - 3/31, paychecks went out today 4/5/24. What quarter do these go into for state and federal payroll taxes. From what I understand since the payroll period was during March that these payroll taxes from the 4/5/24 check would be applicable to Quarter 1 2024 and not Quarter 2 2024.Is it always based on payroll period or is it based on the actual check date? Any information on this would be great, as when on Quickbooks the period says 4/3/24-4/6/24 but I'm not quite sure thats right.Thank you.
From this video (https://quickbooks.intuit.com/learn-support/en-us/payroll-information/view-your-paychecks-and-w-2s-online-in-quickbooks-workforce/00/306276) and an email from Intuit, it appears that changes with Workforce are on the horizon. Two items featured in this video is the ability to change one's bank account(s) for deposits as well as one's withholding. I can only assume Intuit/Workforce will back-feed these changes to the settings in my payroll module or these features would not be available (True??). What concerns me is changes to withholding that an employee makes that is not clearly documented on the proper form W-4. IRS clearly states "To know how much income tax to withhold from employees' wages, you should have a Form W-4, Employee's Withholding Certificate, on file for each employee. Ask all new employees to give you a signed Form W-4 when they start work. " (See https://www.irs.gov/businesses/small-businesses-self-employed/hiring-employee
Hello, I'm trying to get a list of all payroll transactions. Containing employee name, amount paid, and date. I can view this information in QuickBooks, Employees > Employee Center > Transactions. However, If I click on "View as a Report" or attempt to export in Excel, all the amounts go to zero, except checks. I have full access and have confirmed this behavior with another account.Attachment: View in QuickBooks / View as Report
