HiI recently had to get a new computer with 64 bytes as my old computer only had 32. I installed the quickbooks desktop pro 2023 onto my computer. I have 2 usb's 1 with employee information on it and 1 with my customer information on it. An assistant helped me with my employee USB and now i'm wanting to add my customer USB saved information onto this same account. How do I do this?
I run a commercial bee farm and we have sites in many remote locations off the beaten track. Is it possible to input a UK grid reference for a site and then use rules to log when it was visited?Also, I'm having issues with Quickbooks splitting my journeys up into multiple trips with locations that mean nothing to me. All I can deduce is that when I stop at temporary traffic lights, it thinks thats the end of the journey. Ive tried all the recommendations from Intuit about phone settings without success (its way too sensitive). Thanks in advance of any replies
I've tried the tutorials given by QuickBooks, but it really isn't that simple or straight forward. I'd prefer not to have to manually add years of receipts again
Keep getting this error message when I am saving business info to an invoice. "We couldn’t save your information. Please try again. error updating realm with IUS"Luckily it saves the info if I save a draft but I have to put it in every time to an invoice and won't put my logo on it.Is there a way of getting round this to save the info in another way?Thanks

I have multiple projects for my customers. The customer updated there email address and I changed it in there profile but when I create a invoice through the project it always holds the old email and never updates to the new one. How do I fix this?
HI all, I am hoping that someone can provide me with a clear answer to a question that I have been asked. I have a client that is using Desktop Pro and wanted to know what will happen to their Desktop Pro after the June 2023 cease of support in preparation for the cloud version only support. My client has already been in touch with QuickBooks support and the answer that they received is that they will no longer be able to use the QuickBooks Desktop Pro version (installed from download / CD) once the June 2023 has passed as they will not be able to complete any transactions. I have done some searching and it all seems a bit confusing as to what will actually work and what won't For example, the software will run but then new installations will not be able to activate? If anyone can provide some clarity on the above then that would be great. Kind regards.

Hi Does anyone know what Intuit mean when they say they are discontinuing Desktop, are they removing the whole package or just stopping support? In previous years I continued to use versions of Quickbooks desktop without support and had no problems in keeping it up to date with help from our accountant when regulations changed. If the whole package is disappearing does anyone know of a straight replacement for desktop as the online version is rubbish by comparison and does not have the functionality I need. Maybe they will sell it to a third party?
Gosh, i don't find QuickBooks at all clear at times. So sorry if this is a simple and dumb question.My accountant charges me a monthly fee for doing my end of year accounts/coproration tax, so when i pay this, how should this be recorded in Quickbooks. He told me to put it down as "accounting" and add 20% VAT. But in QuickBooks there is nothing that says "accounting" Is it an expense or something else? Or do i create a new category under expense? And yes, i could ask him, but given that was the response i wanted to check with experts here. Thanks.
I have an old desktop version of Quickbooks Pro 2016 that I purchased and used for my company and personal accounts. I closed my company down 10 years ago but still use Quickbooks for my personal accounting and to manage a couple of rental properties that I still own. I don't need all the fancy stuff in the application (ie the links to banks, wages, etc) but am familiar with the application and it works well for what I need to manage my accounts and extract information annually for my accountants. I have just received a notice that the application will not be available from June 2023. Does this mean that I will no longer be able to access and use the application that I purchased in good faith in 2016? I am retired and as I only use the application to manage my personal accounts I do not want to pay for a monthly subscription for all the fancy stuff in the application that I do not use or need.
I am very worried.I phoned QuickBooks / Intuit in the UK, as I was told by a QuickBooks expert on the chat to do so.I wanted to buy the 2019 version of QB desktop.I was then told by the QB expert in the UK that they are prohibited from selling their desktop versions! It seems as if they do not conform to the UK accounting principles. I am now worried that my desktop version in South Africa will also be subjected to the same treatment by whatever the Accounting Board is in South Africa, because South Africa usually follows what happens in the UK. What is going on? QB cannot offer the same functionality online as they offer in their Desktop versions and it seems as if we are going to have to gravitate to other firms that offer more compatible software? I'd appreciate comments on this.
I'm in South Africa and it seems as if BizTechnlologies (SA Agent) no longer has a contract to sell desktop QB. I have an idea that this is because Intuit UK is not longer allowed to sell the desktop version due to some form of legal restriction and desktop not conforming to whatever. I wanted to update my QB 2016 to QB 2019.Now QB desktop 2019 is going to go out of support soon anyway?I've just subscribed to Quick Books Online. I see that I cannot create assembly items on QBO, only bundles.As a manufacturer, I need to build items I sell from bulk and this is not possible in QBO.It seems as if I am stuck with QB desktop 2016, but I was also told by the UK Intuit specialist that I contacted that I could buy an inventory plug-in that would enable me to build my assembly items and also incorporate this with QB online.Is their a plug-in that anyone can recommend - I'd really like something that will be able to help me create a price level for my wholesale clients as well. Can anyone help?D
