Is there a way on QB Enterprise that enables me to have the stock level of one item, rely on the stock level of another item.For example, 'Fabric Roll-A10' contains a total quantity of 10 units in stock (This serves as the 'master' item)'Fabric Roll-AA15' is made up of 15 units of 'Fabric Roll-A1' (This should show as out of stock since 15>10)'Fabric Roll-AA8' is made up of 8 units of 'Fabric Roll-A1' (I want this to show as in stock or 1 unit available since 8<10) We currently have this product listed on Amazon and we are using TrueCommerce as a bridge to connect our QB with Amazon so we do not manually enter quantity levels and any sales orders we obtain. The downside is that Amazon does not have a field that allows users to input a custom length. Rather each item must be offered to Amazon customers as a fixed length, so we decided to register items of various lengths in QB to be reflected on Amazon. I always had my accountant do my bookkeeping, but I'm thinking of getting QuickBooks Desktop Pro to do the bookkeeping myself, but I'm not sure if I need the payroll add on. My business only has a single employee which is myself. I pay myself by transferring funds from my business chequing account to my personal chequing account. I know at the end of the year, I'll need to generate a T4 slip and summary to submit to the CRA. Is this done through the payroll add on too? My accountant always did this for me, not sure if I should do this myself or continue to let my accountant do this.
I'm interested in purchasing QuickBooks Desktop Pro, but I see 2 different pricing option and I'm not sure what the difference is. On the Intuit website, I can get the 1 User License of QuickBooks Desktop Pro for a monthly subscription of $32. However on the staples.ca website, I can purchase a 1 User License of QuickBooks Desktop Pro 2020 for a 1 time cost of $384.99. What's the difference between these 2 products? It seems like purchasing it from Staples is the cheaper option if I choose to use QuickBooks for more than 1 year.
I am trying to do a bank rec in Quickbooks Desktop, 2019 and whenever I tick off an entry on the cheques and payments side, the screen jumps back to the top and I have to scroll back down to get to the correct month/entry! It's driving me nuts. It does this every time I tick something off. It will take forever to complete. It did not do this before my upgrade to 2019. So frustrating. Any ideas?? Help. Mike

I have quickbooks desktop 2015 and have recently downloaded new version of Office 365. I am having issues exporting a custom report to an excel spreadsheet ( we do this for our accountant as we have to wipe off client information as we keep their information confidential). I keep geting errors when I try to export to excel. Is QB 2015 not comptable with Office 365 ( I just downoaded that about a month or two ago)Thanks.
I am trying to record a withdrawal from our company account in Quickbooks to our holding company which we do not have listed in Quickbooks. The holding company is separate from our company.
I don't understand and figure out what amount is the "0.23" in the journal entry. I purchased the amount $60 but in P&L report shows me the amount 0.23. Can somebody explain what amount it is?Thank you
Tried installing QuickBooks Pro 2018 on new Windows 10 Pro PC. The installation stalled and finally stopped and gave me an error that I didn't note at the time. There were a couple of Windows updates so I put them in and did a restart and installed the program again. It did not allow me to install but did allow me to Repair the installation so I went with that. It completed this time, without error, but it was not actually installed. The 'Start QuickBooks' button at the end of the installation was grayed out. I could only close. The program does not show up in the program list so I could not uninstall that way. I've tried a number of things including using the 'clean install' tool provided by QB. I also manually deleted QB folders. Each time it will only allow me to repair the installation. So it somehow detects QB is installed. I ran the installation troubleshooter and it fails on 'Register QuickBooks Library Files'. everything else was good. I am stuck. I can't uninstall an
