Hello! We use a separate credit card processing terminal to manage payments. Typically when we issue a refund, the refunded amount comes out of our next batch deposit. For instance, if we ran $1000 worth of charges but also refunded a customer $100, our deposit the following day would be $900. I'm finding this process is making it challenging for me to properly reconcile a customer's original payment and subsequent refund when I'm matching deposits in the business overview/bank account section. For instance, I received a credit card batch deposit on 1/03 which included the customer's original payment - I am able to match that payment without issue. On 1/05 I received another credit card batch deposit, but it is for $600 less than the charges ran the previous day because of the $600 refund. I can't match this deposit to the charges it was for because it is less than what those charges add up to. I'm not sure if I'm explaining this clearly enough...hopefully someone

I am currently running QuickBooks Premier Accountant edition 2020. I want to sign into my email so that my accountant can send multiple statements to multiple customers at once. The problem is that QuickBooks' browser seems to be terribly outdated even to load QuickBooks' own online help. Because of this, during the set-up process from Edit>Preferences>Send Forms, I cannot log into the email because it throws some errors about some scripts that aren't working. Whether you let those continue running or not, the sign-in page will not load. Next, I tried the manual way by selecting "Others" from the email providers section and manually putting the SMTP details:Server Name: smtp.office365.comPort: 587SSL/TLS: EnabledIssue with this is that my account has 2-step-verification. To get around this, I generated an app password from my Microsoft account. But that didn't work either. What other ways are there for me to get my email working with QuickBooks? Or is there somethi

We have snapped receipts on the app and uploaded receipts from our computer to match expenses. I want to go back for the year and download all these images onto our computer. Is there an easy batch option way to do this without going into each individual transaction for the year over and over?
Has anyone else experienced extreme frustration with this new layout? I was using my quickbooks to bring up customer estimate information for an important phone call. A few minutes later, once I had joined my meeting, I went to access my quickbooks online information on this customer and the multiple job estimates that I had prepared days before, however, I could not locate any of the items I was counting on sharing. I was forced to search through some new widget layout and look like a fool that was unprepared. Needless to say I lost the job opportunity! I am SO angry with quickbooks right now! They have all my company financials and customers and I was counting on their software to work as it should, but when it really counted, they screwed it all up for me. The job that I was bidding on was a Huge job for my small company that I had spent over a month of my time on. I am pretty sure that this just cost my company a $350k job that

A few weeks ago, I was temporarily added as an accountant on multiple accounts to resolve a reconciliation issue. That issue is now resolved, and I’d like to return to being a standard admin user. However, I’m running into a couple of issues: I’m currently listed as part of the "accounting firm" in the user settings across several accounts (Santa Barbara, Lompoc, Santa Maria, Employment, 719), but I cannot remove myself from that designation. I used to have all these accounts pinned under my profile for quick access, but now only one company is pinned. When I try to re-pin the other entities, it says they’re not in my company list, even though I have admin rights and can access them individually. Can you help me revert my account to standard admin, remove the accounting firm role, and re-pin all the entities for easy switching? Thank you!see loom, [Attachment removed. Contains PII]
When I go to bank transactions for review and edit one of them, many of them automatically change to the last category and payee that I just used. How do I stop QBO from doing that?

I have Quickbooks Accountant. I have added a client who has acquired QuickBooks online essential from me and my company is paying for it but QuickBooks online has not sent my client an e-mail notification. I have even updated my client's profile with a new email but still, he has to gotte ay notification in the new email. Any help

Hello, I would really like to have the option to add my own corporate typeface to the invoice template. The typefaces one can choose are really limiting and look always odd in combination with the rest of my identity (logo etc). What I end up doing is to download the invoice and place it into another template on my end so that only the minimum amount of the QB invoice (i.e. sold goods/services plus amounts) are visible. Are there ways to incorporate this? I am on quicbooks online accounting.ThanksSigrid
