I have a client who is experiencing random and intermittent startup issues with QuickBooks 2024 on Windows 11 Pro. While his machine was on my bench, I successfully opened up QB almost 2 dozen times over this past weekend with no problem whatsoever. As soon as he got it home and tried to run QB, it froze and eventually popped up this error message. I tried to submit/send the report but of course, that didn't work either. How is this fixed?
Hello, I have had several error messages in the past few weeks that appear to be unresolvable, even after chatting with a QBO "expert." Just yesterday, after trying to solve an issue involving classes--a feature I've been using for well over 10 years--I was told that no class column in transactions is "how the system is designed." REALLY?! I've wasted far too much time, and it seems a new error message pops up every other day. I don't have any bookkeeping clients at present, and I use QBO to handle my own small-business finances. Can anyone suggest a simple, stress-free method to track income and expenses and be able to sort by class? Thanks in advance.
There are a total of six 1099-NEC's that need to be corrected but only 3 vendors. (3 different QuickBooks companies)
I ran the profit & Loss budget vs actual report. the budget column s/b zero and the % of budget should be100.0 %. The summary of income is a negative. The amounts keyed in my first column for the expenses are showing in the budget column. Any suggestions.
Once I have made a customer inactive, how can I see the customer again?
I accidentally deleted a sales receipt and the client realized they used to wrong card to pay and wanted a refund for that payment and to pay with another card (company policy stuff). I tried to issue a manual refund using refund receipt but I keep getting an error message saying the amount is invalid. Does any one know why it is giving this error and if there is anyway to refund the card when there is no sales receipt? Attached screenshot of error message
I signed up for QBO 6 days ago. I've been using QBMac for 20 some odd years. I'm switching so that my business can set up a POS system that would integrate with QBO. I first migrated data directly from QBMac to QBO. Took 24 hours but it's a 1.7GB data set so not surprising. At first glance most everything looked good. Then I saw the inventory asset was off by hundreds of thousands of dollars. Then I saw that all the items had been converted to Non-Inventory Items - most are Inventory items (over 10,000 of them) along with a few non-inventory items. After contacting migration support and receiving little help, and agent noticed a statement, buried deep in a help article that this is what happens when QBMac files are exported to QBO files. In order for migration to keep Inventory Items as Inventory Items a backup to a .qbb file has to be created and that file uploaded to be converted to QBO. The accounts do not show as duplicate in the chart of accounts but when I go to reconcile the account it is listed twice. Looks like I reconciled one thru 1/31/25 and the other thru 2/28/25.
I get a popup window when I try to log in to my QuickBooks Online account that reads: "Uh oh, there's a connection problem. Sorry, but the app didn't connect. Please try again later, or contact customer support for help."
See the option to add vehicles or edit vehicles, but not seeing any option anywhere to delete my only managed vehicle.
