Hi there, Looking for advice on the best way to export all the necessary data, that I am legally required to retain for 7 years? I have disengaged from the client, and don't intend to keep paying the monthly QB subscription for 7 years, so would like to export all of the data. Any advice on the best way to do this, and any possible pitfalls, would be really appreciated? I have contacted QB customer services already, and there is no simple way to do this.....

The majority of my invoices are paid in cash, therefore many cash deposits are recorded on my quickbooks account which appear as Sales income on my P&L. However all of the corresponding invoices also appear as sales income on my P&L, which is a duplication of the entries. This is because the cash deposits account for all the cash payments received from invoices. How can I make it so that any invoices paid by cash do not appear on my P&L? I have been using the predetermined option 'Undeposited funds' to clear these payments, as advised by the software, but the amounts still show up on the P&L. Is there a simple way to fix this, as it would be difficult to match each invoice to a cash deposit. For example one deposit could include several sources of revenue for the month so the amount would differ. Alternatively how can I easily correspond my cash deposits against multiple invoices to avoid the duplication? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
I am going to add the report pack to an automated pay run and I want to send the pay run audit report as part of that process. How do I do that?
Van purchase recorded in quickbooks and monthly payments towards that but nothing showing at all for the van in my income tax report
Hi, I have found a report which is perfect but I'm not able to export it into PDF. The report as it stands is very basic and looks like an excel and defiantly not nice enough to forward onto a client. I need this report to send onto clients as a summary of what is outstanding and it needs to look professional with logo etc in it. The location of this report is: Invoicing - Customers Filter - Overdue invoicesFilter - Last Quarter Normally, a PDF function is available with the option to add logo etc but not in this report. I have been all through the reporting tab and sub folders to try and replicate this report, but there is nothing. Can someone help? Thank youAdam
In QBD we have the net worth graph. Is there a way to generate the same report in QBO? I know it's not a hugely essential graph but I like to keep a track of the ups and down over the years.
can I run an 18 month trial balance in quickbooks online?
It seems that cash basis accounting is the default option for quickbooks, I can't see any way to change it to traditional, am I missing the option? I spoke to an advisor in the chat but she didn't know what cash basis or traditional accounting were let alone if it could be changed!
Hi,I'm trying to add my client's miles manually as I have done every month for the last 2 years, but it's not saving. Is there an issue with it at the moment, or has there been something new introduced that I have to do to get the miles to save?Any advice would be gratefully received - thank you.
Hi All, I have been trying to sort my taxes out and I am having an issue. when I try to view my Tax report or download the breakdown it shows nothing even when I change the date to last years tax date. the P&L sheet is working fine and so is the dashboard. Anyone know what i might be doing wrong and able to help please. Thanks
Hi, I am just getting started with QB and looking to just use it very simply to start with. I have entered my sales, and have entered the cost of sales. In the P&L report the "Sales of Product Income" have VAT deducted, but "Cost of Sales" seem to be cost with VAT. So Gross Profit shows a loss. I obviously have something wrong but I am not sure what, any help appreciated.
Hi, This is driving me round the bend as I can get the report that I want, can someone help please. I'm trying to enter up actual income figures into last year's budget to help me formulate one for this year, but I can't find a way to produce a report that lists last year's income for each income type separately. There is some breakdown, but most of it is just appearing as general sales with no indication of what it was for. I've spent the last hour and half on this, and I can't find what I'm looking for. Please help before I throw something through the window in frustration!!!!
