How can I select between the different invoice templates set up, when issuing an invoice.
Each time we try to put a hot link to our pay service, QB prints the hot link as gibberish. It will not accept the "/" symbol. What do I do?
I am missing transactions and thought I would disconnect and reconnect my bank account but withdrew my consent at the same time. Now I can not reconfirm it. Any ideas? Thank you very much!
Hey there, I use the simplified mileage method and when I log the mileage on the quickbooks software it automatically deducts the amount from my tax report but it doesn't include the amount as an expense on my P&L report. I would like to use the software to track my mileage but then make an actual physical transaction from my business account to my personal account that represents the 45p per mile allowance. But I don't want to duplicate the cost on my tax return as quickbooks automatically does this if i use their software to track the miles even though I haven't made a transaction for them. Do I need to abandon the quickbooks mileage tracker and just log it elsewhere then make transactions to my personal account that represent the trips or is there a happy medium where I can use the software but also pay myself 45p per mile for my trips without duplicating the allowable expense. Can we please have a link on the Invoice/Sales Receipt etc pages so you can go straight to the Customer or Supplier account? To edit the account, we have to come out of the document and search for the customer. It would be so much easier if we could click on a link to take us straight to the Customer/Supplier account like most other accounting packages do.
I understand QB does not use customer ID -is there a work around
I have changed address in customer settings but when I go to resend invoice the old address is still in it Tried refreshing data but the same
In QBO UK Plus I have noticed that if a user (who has limited access e.g. not having access to Templates or Forms) cannot choose the desired template to generate an invoice. Normally a user such as Admin would have access to select the template on the invoice window when generating an invoice. A user should be able to choose an invoice template inorder to print the invoice. How prevalent is this issue? How do you get round it?
I want to add a colleagues email address onto our Inuit account, so that invoices can be sent from her address and clients reply to her not me as the account holder. Any advice welcome
Is anybody else having issue with the TAB sequence in QB Online. It doesn't TAB down to line 2 on sales receipts, invoices, expenses, etc. but now just goes to add line. I got hold of someone on live chat today (after waiting an hour and having to exit chat and start a new one) and apparently the engineers say their system is working fine!!
Is there a way to log information with a digital receipt when it is emailed? For example, how it was paid or whether its on account as my accountant then assigns them and reconcilesI tried going in and adding information to the memo field at the bottom yet it doesnt retain this information
I have just switched from happily using QBSE for around 4 years, to QB online - I wish I hadn't.First up, none of my invoices carried over have been marked as paid or matched up with the relevant bank transaction.I have manually selected the hundreds of invoices that have be paid and marked them as paid. They are all now showing as being paid today and are showing as a HUGE cash balance that I have.Despite this all of the invoices are showing as Overdue - despite me saying they have been paid.I have tried Recording Payment and automatically no matching transactions are found... ever. So i have to manually go in a reduce the time period to the day that the payment was received... which is an extremely slow and tedious process.This is made more tedious as despite the software looking like it is all working and accepted it and the invoice screen refreshing, the 'unpaid' transaction still remains. Refreshing the page manually also doesn't show it as being paid. Closing the brows
HiWe send out a lot of stock on a "sale or return basis". Does any know if this can be done in quickbooks without creating invoices and credits? Thanks
Hey guys, Hoping someone here can help me with this question. We're a new company trying to post our vendor invoices to Quickbooks and I'm coming across this issue. I need to post my vendor invoices so that it is hitting the COGS account of material while also hitting the cost codes that we've set up. We've turned on the Product/Service to be shown on the vendor bills, but when we put in the COGS account of Material, then we can't put in the cost code applied to that line. Alternatively, if we put in the cost code in the section below, we can't post it to the general ledger account, Material. It seems that you can only post to one or the other and I need it post to both. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
i am currently using quikbooks self employed via the app. I have been in contact with support and have had no solutions, they have suggested the nee sole trader and simple start but they tell me it doesn’t allow it either. How do people show in quikbooks paying invoices if you have an account with a supplier and you receive the statement with 4 separate invoices for the statement total? how do you upload 4 separate invoices against the 1 statement total that is pulled in from your bank when you pay that total amount. currently I have to pay every invoice seperately on the statement which is not very efficient. thanks for your help
As the title says, my account got messed up with double transactions and I wanted to start from scratch. I want to delete transactions that havent been reviewed and also excluded ones. But I dont have the option to do this on either. Any suggestions?
Hi I'm trying to find a quicker way to input my weekly sales. We currently have 28 pubs and have yo put the sales in manually every week and was wondering if we can manually import sales transactions into QuickBooks using a csv file?
I have been using the app and service for the last few months, I managed to sort all my transactions between personal and business stuff. But this morning I went into the app to sort the newest expenses and over 500+ transactions needing sorting which had already been sorted beforehand. Essentially doubling all my earnings and expenses when they have already been sorted. Why is the service constantly acting up like this and what the hell am I supposed to do? I'd like to avoid having to sort out almost an entire year worth of transactions.
We bill our tenants monthly for association dues. On our old software, we recur the invoices and only add the outstanding unpaid balances on every billing/invoice. After printing and sending them to the tenants, we delete the outstanding balances we put in order to leave the current bill. How do you do this in QB in a way that when I put the outstanding, it doesn't add more amount but only shows the unpaid previous billing?
