We are an auction company that uses AuctionFlex as our auction software. Recently, our accountant asked us to capture these sales in QuickBooks. Our auctions are consignment-based. We do not own the equipment being sold; our consignor does; we are the middleman. We hold the auction, and the winning bidder will be invoiced by us, submitting payment to us. Then, we will pay our consignor for the equipment minus our commission fee. Our AuctionFlex software captures all of this information, figures the commission rates, etc. What is the best way to capture these auctions in QuickBooks and make this as automated as possible? Some of our auctions will have up to 100 pieces.

Hi, I'm trying to update the chart of accounts in QBO. The Batch edit is not working. I'll enter in new numbers and when I save I get a message "Error. Sorry, an unexpected error has occurred. Please try again." Since it's safe to assume that Intuit will not fix this issue, does anyone have a workaround? No, I'm not going to write to Support or submit a ticket. I'm sure that this is the answer I'll get from the ever-present Intuit bots on the site. If they can't charge us more for it, Intuit doesn't care. I'm wasting enough time on this program; no point in wasting more.

We just updated our QB Desktop software from 2021 to 2023. I have one company file that when I click on it tells me to contact the Administrator to update the file. It never gives us the opportunity to log in. Any suggestions what might be going on and how we can fix it? All our other company files updated perfectly.
It appears no one at intuit is familiar with a product sold on their website. I have spoken to at least 15 diff people. I have Order Conf w/ Order No. License Numbers for the products and several download buttons, no of which work.
