When I log into QB, sometimes I see an alert that reads “Some QuickBooks Payments deposits weren't automatically recorded.” It includes a link to “Take Action.” When I click that link, a Deposit record opens and shows undeposited QuickBooks Payments. The thing is, if I just wait and come back later, the list of undeposited QuickBooks Payments changes. Sometimes, if I wait long enough, the alert goes away.So my question is, what’s the point of this alert? If the “issue” eventually “fixes” itself, why do I need to take action?I found the community post "Fix alert Some QuickBooks Payments deposits weren’t automatically recorded" that provides steps to fix this issue, but why should I do that if the issue will fix itself? If someone could provide me some insight into this “issue,” I’d appreciate it.Thanks!

The search window is unavailable for my PayPal transactions, but available for my banks and cards. How can I search through my transactions to speed up categorizing them?
I'm not even sure that my bank offers that service.
How do I change the category of a deposit once the accounts are reconciled. We recently updated our chart of accounts to include more defined categories and I'd like to relabel the revenue accordingly. How do I do this?
My co-treasurer changed, removing my online access but then it was restored and all accounts re animated. I never reconciled balances for the duplicate accounts. I'd like to remove them completely.
I just purchased this product. Linked my bank account. I only see option to go back to January 1, 2024. I need to start with January 1,2023. My bank uploaded account back to January 2023
How do I delete an erroneous initial journal that has been reconciled?
Any help?
I’ve been using QuickBooks since 2019. Switching to online was the biggest mistake I’ve ever made. None of the features work 100%, I’ve tried to add my cc card today and every time I get to the page where it asks how far back would I like to add the transactions, the screen freezes. I tried on my iPhone 14 pro max, iPad (safari and Firefox). Then when I managed to add the acct on the mobile app. It only imported 2024 and I’m unable to import 2023. I work in the tech sector in development and it’s unreal what a dumpster fire this is. For as much money intuit charges for this, it should be fluid. I’m extremely motivated to do away with this software this year and will be sure to advise as many of my business owner friends to steer clear.
I can log in with the credentials directly on the citi site, but something is going wrong when I try to auth via quickbooks online.
My income for bookkeeping services is duplicated on the P&L. I created a chart of account for bookkeeping to have as a line item on my invoices. All invoices with the line item bookkeeping has now been duplicated. What should I do? I can not delete the transactions because it affects the customer's invoice. Please help.
To be clear: in my history of accounts, it shows two reconciliation reports for the same account, same month. One is correct (the first one) but the second one is incorrect. How do I delete it? I can't reconcile the next month because QBO wants to use the incorrect starting and ending balances.
I think this happened because my account got unlinked for a while but I thought the info would repopulate when relinked.
How do I see downloaded bank checking account transactions?
I have a generic list not directly associated with transactions other than costs for advertising/leads.
I have linked QB online to my business credit card. It has only pulled in payments made to the credit card, none of the purchases show up. I have tried updating, still no joy.
When I download my bank transactions in the bank feeds, many of the transactions are marked "Auto" and color coded blue. I understand QB thinks it's a match, but it's not so I have to click the "Not A Match" option first for EACH transaction. Sometimes it auto matches it to another, later transaction, so I have to click not a match multiple times. Then I can manually match payments to the deposit. I need to turn off the auto match because it thinks these payments are already in the register, but I need to match them manually to the bank feed in order to show them as deposited into the right account. Is there a way to stop auto match on bank feed accounts to avoid having to click "not a match" multiple times to match payments to the deposits??
The older of the two accounts is over a year old. The second is a few days old.
