Hello,I was about to submit my accounts to my accountant for end of year submission and Quickbooks has stopped working - an error message says it has been disabled. It couldn't have happened at a worse time! My last license number was given to me by Intuit on 16/11/2016 and exactly four years later to the day, without any warning, my software is disabled, leaving me very, very stressed. A flag comes up in the program to say phone Intuit for the new code. I have been in contact with Intuit and while they have been friendly and helpful, apparently they cannot generate a new validation code to get my software running again. (It's an old version, QB Pro 2006, but I have it working on an old PC running windows XP and not connected to the internet and it suits me fine). While I do of course understand that it's a sunset version and not supported, I am unhappy that the program is disabled without warning and that a new code is not forthcoming, leaving me well and truly stuck.&

I didn't know about the other app at the time, I realised straight after I signed up. I've signed up for the pro version of the self employed quick books instead.

Hi, I am currently trialing QBO Plus for my construction business. I am hitting a road block trying to utilize inventory for the way our company purchases materials. The background to my issue: I want to make use of inventory to track surplus materials generated from a project. We purchase materials throughout a project specifically for that project as opposed to purchasing materials as stock / inventory and drawing down from it (this would be too time consuming for us to track). At the end of every project there are always materials left over due to minimum order quantities. I want to be able add these materials to inventory so they show on our accounts as stock assets until we have a use for them on another project. At which point we will drawdown from the inventory as normal. I want the transfer of materials from a project to inventory to reduce project COGS.The issue is every way I have tried (refund, credit note, zero sales receipts etc.) seems
Hi,This is very urgent. I have now had an issue with invoicing for over a week. None of my customers can open the invoices. I have been in contact with Intuit on FaceBook and they have confirmed it is a problem in Self Employed. Could we have some updates on when it will be solved. Hi i wonder if anyone can help. I currently have 5 companies i deal with. two are in the Uk and thre are in the US. I am looking to move my two UK companies to QB from Sage. Two of the US companies are online QB and one is enterprise desktop. Obviously having them all on one version makes the most sense! Here is my dilema. I need payroll in the UK and need the facilities available in Enterprise. Is it possible to get them all on enterprise and still have UK payroll Thank you
The web application tells me that I need to re-authorise bank accounts (with Lloyds Bank) and when I attempt this, it FAILS, telling me to try again in a few hours. This is the second attempt - last night it did the same thing. Guess what - NO RESPONSE yet. By the way, I had already authorised the accounts TWO WEEKS ago and now the prompt has re-appeared. WHY?
