Hi All We purchase products and services from companies that bill in dollars and euros, although these are always paid in £. How do we record these suppliers invoices in QB Online? Is it just a case of showing the payment as a the GBP conversion? Thanks in advance
I have seen this topic many times and it appears to be something that isn't resolved. Can anyone give feedback on any issues with the work arounds that are suggested?
Hello. QB Self-Employed UK user here. Every time I send an invoice it is being sent to my main employer and also to an additional email address- his accountant. Now what I'm after is if it is possible to see if the invoices I've sent previously have been sent to the additional email recipient or not. The situation is that the accountant is claiming that he didn't receive some of my invoices invoice, the guy I work for did get them and I can see that the invoice was indeed sent to him but when clicking on the past invoices summary absolutely none of them states if it was posted to the additional email address at all, even those that I'm absolutely positive that have been sent to both addresses. So in short, how can I check/prove that the invoice was sent to additional email address - not just the main one. RegardsM
Hi, we have multiple bank accounts linked automatically and everything is working well.We recently had to add a new bank account that QB doesn't offer support for automatic linking. This account always shows a bank balance of $0 and an accurate (up to your last file upload) QB balance. This is the first, small, grief. As a software company, if updated manually, how can it be to put something else than $0 in bank balance. Even a N/A would be better since $0 is actally a real value, therefore this is confusing. Second grief, a more important one, in Transaction/Banking you have a summary of all your accounts. The balance (and only value) showed in the summary box is $0 !!!! So the bank balance, not the quickbook balance .... And there is no way to change this it seems. Can someone please point me to a fix and/or QB please change this as this is really counter intuitive. Regards,
I am trying to find a report that summarises what I have on pending Customer orders (Estimates), what stock I have and what stock I have on a Purchase order. So I can work out what I need to order to replenish stock. I cant see anything like this . The information is there but on different reports. Quickbooks doesn't seem to give the option to pull it togetherI can get a report of pending orders but not by product detail.I can get a report by product detail by orders but not by pendingI can get a report of stock qty and what is on PO
Hi,I'd like help to clarify what I should be entering in the Tax Profile under the settings menu. I am employed so have an income already, but have set up as a sole trader too. I want Quickbooks to tell me how much tax i am going to have to pay on my own business. In "Personal allowance amount" I should enter £12,500 - the standard allowance, but I already reach that and pay tax on my salary via my employer. So instead, do I enter the tax allowance for sole traders which is £1000?Will that calculate the tax correctly?Do i need to put anything in the "Employment income" section?Thank you Carol
Every time I open Quickbooks Desktop App on my Mac it tells me there is a new version to install. I update and then the next day the same. Every. Single. Time. Without fail even when it's been updated. How do I get this to stop please? It's really irritating.
My company manufactures electronic equipment. We use QBO for our accounts and we'd like to look at ways of using it to keep track of Income vs Costs on the individual products we manufacture and sell.Seems like the issue with the QBO 'Projects' feature is we can only allocate an incoming Bill or an outgoing Invoice to one project - so if we invoice a customer for multiple products, or we buy parts for multiple products we cant allocate them individually. We originally tried the 'Products & Services' functionality but that is only designed for very basic 'Buy a thing, sell that thing' business - not manufacturers. Can anyone offer some advice on better tracking outgoing vs. incoming P/L per product/project in QBO?Thanks.
I've relinked bank accounts twice - success! But then it doesn't work.
