When you set up a new company in QBO you get presented with 7 tiles (track your VAT / track construction industry taxes / Track your retail sales / Send and track invoices / Manage your stock / Pay your employees) - how do you get back to them so you can add more in, if you didn't click them all to start off with? Also how do I edit the company name, given that I accidentally put Ltd without a capital L? I can click on the company name at the top, edit the name, but it still shows the lower-case L at the top afterwards. It's like it's hard-coded somewhere and you only have one shot at getting it right. Thanks!
Hello, How best may I account for income from an investment property? Under tax profile there is an 'other income' box. Should I put in there the profit figure only (i.e. Rent, minus mortgage, service charge and other costs?). Or is there a better way of accounting for it? Thanks! Colin

When you go to most of QuickBooks areas there are lists - lists of clients, transactions, etc. QB has default settings - how many lines to display - for example 50 customers or 50 products and how it sorts - alphabetically, by date in descending order etc. For many areas these display options can be changed - for example I can set it to display 150 rows of customers and sort them by currency in which they pay me.However, as soon as I log out - all these settings are lost and returned to default. How do I make my setting permanent? / stop reverting to default display settings on logout?

I'm using Quickbooks Pro 2021 and have been using it for several years. I don't want to make a change in case I mess things up, so I thought I'd ask the question here... Is it possible to change an item number and if I do, will it update in all transactions and the inventory?So for example, let's say I created an item ABC123 and I have received invoices from my supplier and I have sold hundreds of them, but now I want to change it to 123-ABC. Obviously the items are actual manufacturer's part numbers. Originally I made up what I thought was an intuitive item number and then for others I used the manufacturer's product code, which looks far better and is more professional. So now whenever I sell one where I chose the item number it irritates me and I'd like to change them if it's possible providing it retains the integrity throughout the system.Any thoughts on this will be appreciated.
Good morning. We have received an email that Quickbooks Desktop will no longer be available in our region in 6 months time. Does this mean that we have to transfer to our file to Quickbooks Online system or otherwise Quickbooks will no longer be available. If yes what is the procedure please. Thanks
I had 2 subscriptions, 1 for Quickbooks Self Employed and another through Quickbooks On-line. I have cancelled my subscription for Quickbooks Self Employed and now can not log into my other account. I just keep getting directed to the Self Employed page. Please can you advise how I can now log into my other account? Many thanks.
Hello, Quick books.I know there are only 6 custom design available for reporting purpose. Now the thing is we want more designs. I have imported some design but they dont fit properly. Can you guys share some of the more designs so we can import that and use it.
How do I set the email address QB sends from. I use Thunderbird and have several accounts setup. I can get QB to send invoices but it sends from the wrong account. Thank you.
