Hi, My question is basically the same as this one: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/learn-support/en-us/other-questions/entering-paypal-refund-into-quickbooks-online-simple/00/449472 I paid someone from PayPal at some point. This entry was logged back then. Then, some weeks later, the person refunded the same amount to me. <-- I want to log this transaction as well. My PayPal account is not linked to any credit card. It's linked to a bank account. So I am honestly quite confused with the "Credit card credit" option I have to select, according to the information stated in the link above.I don't have anything in the "Bank/Credit account" currently. And when I click "+ Add new", I can only select a "Credit Card" account type. Please let me know how to move forward here.

I have a business bank account liked to my personal bank account and I need both in QuickBooks?
Previously subscribed to QuickBooks SE via the iOS app and payment method associated with my Apple ID. Have since cancelled the subscription, which ends today, as I want to pay with a standalone debit card. How do I do this? On the desktop site, when I click billing, it shows a not-very-helpful overlay telling me to manage my billing preferences through the app. When I go into settings > subscriptions > switch plan in the app, it just tries to resubscribe me using the payment method linked to my Apple ID again, which I don't want.
Hi, would anyone be able to advise how to record Repayment of Excise Duty by HMRC please? Thanks.
Can anybody tell me when I will be able to scan a purchase receipt and copy to QBO in the UK?
Hello, I am self-employed and have came across under ‘taxes’ some disallowable expenses that should be under the allowable expenses, in particular car/van expenses which relate to fuel, repairs etc. I don’t use the mileage tracker, and I record everything as actual expenses with receipts. In comparison, HMRC have recommended that I used the ‘actual costs’ in comparison to the ‘simplified expenses’. Also, under the same category ‘taxes’, it says show SA103F boxes. What I need it to show is SA103S boxes please.
I have one main bank account This has a sub account setup as a client account I have received money from a client and cannot for the life of me figure out how to get this in to the client account without causing all sorts of problems. The transaction shows up under the banking tab but whenever I add this transaction, it is showing up as a PAYMENT in the Client Account rather than a deposit. If I change this by editing the transaction in the chart of accounts, it initially shows the account as my main one, changing this to the client account then registers BOTH the deposit and payment of £400 resulting in a net balance of £0. Deleting the payment results in both transactions being deleted. I am at a total loss here. Please can you help.
I've just subscribed to Quickbooks online for self employed and downloaded the app. I've signed in and that's about as far as I can get. I can view transactions, invoices etc which of course are all nil as I haven't set my account up yet.I don't see any option to create my business account either on my PC or on my iphone using the app. Also, the app doesn't appear to be working properly , one thing is it is forcing me to track my mileage and I don't want to, the option to opt out doesn't work. So far I am not having a very good experience with Quickbooks. Wasted a lot of time. Is there a problem with it or is it me ? I can't find any help with this problem online.
