I have started Self Employment in October mid way through the tax year. I have been paying Tax and NI through the company I worked via PAYE from April to October 2019. How do I adjust the quickbook system to recognise the TAX and NI that has been paid up to October 20th to give me the correct amount of TAX and Class 2 and 4 NI payments I have to pay when Self Employed. I am based in Scotland in the UK.
I have a peculiar prpblem with sales orders. Viewing a list of sales orders in a customer account, some show with a zero balance and some show with a partial balance. Of course, those with a zero balance have been completed in full and closed, having ther cloased tick against each product line. However, those with partial balances yet are also sporting a completed tick make no sense. The entire sales order has been fulfilled yet they show a partial open balance. Anyone explain what is going on and offer advice on how to correct this please. Robert
I've recently had to reconnect my bank account (Monzo) and instead of reconnecting with the same credentials, it's just imported the account a second time with duplicate transactions.I then probably made matters worse by deleting the inactive connection, but in doing so all my attached receipts have been deleted too. Is there any way to retrieve this data, and reactivate the original connection, or am I now only left with this new connection?Is there a way to prevent this issue happening in the future when the banking connection has to be 'renewed'?
Hello! I am looking for a little advice. I have created numerous sales receipts and have been matching them to the deposits when they arrive in the bank account. I use the resolve toggle switch to send some of the sales receipt to bank charges as we do not actually receive this payment, it is debited prior to us being sent the money. All my sales receipts have been created the same, however I have one transaction that when I use 'find match' cannot be found! I have tried numerous things, including playing with the dates, trying to find the customer, etc. Nothing works, it just cannot find it! Any suggestions? Or is there a way I can manually 'match' this? Thanks for your help in advance!Mel
Can anyone help me with an email address to which I can send a support enquiry... chat doesn't work for me... I'm there for an hour whilst I explain the issues, they try all the fixes I've already tried and then tell me they don't know how to fix the issue. I just need to email someone with technical nounce who can look into the issue I am having properly, thanksI can't post this - this glitch needs fixing - it tells me I need to add a label, I add a label and then it acuses me of post flooding as I've already tried to post it... so many glitches with this programme
Hello, i am working with QuickBooks Pro2018, the desktop version. For the past couple years we've utilized the remote desktop option so that my bookkeeper has full access to the books at any time. However, it seems that within that last month or two our payroll updates are not "sticking". I am constantly being asked to update to the latest version, when i do the update nothing is changes and i am again asked to update. I've had to manually calculate payroll taxes a couple times. Along with the payroll update issue, i have also encountered a "vital quickbooks updated is needed" message when i start the remote session. I have gone through the process of that update as well, and again nothing changes. According to the message i haven't updated for almost 50 days, which is not the case. Any ideas????
hiim having issues importing the csv file for transactions longer than 90 days which i downloaded from Santander... when i try to import...the "continue" button comes on in a dim way but its not clickable to actually continue it just sits there doing nothing i'm using QB self employed online if that helps please help

We run Quickbooks Premier Accountant desktop and are agents for the majority of our VAT clients.We have four who want to keep their login themselves (but are happy for us to do the work and file the return once they have approved the figures. ) Up until last month we were able to toggle to Pro from Premier Accountants to use their login for MTD, but it now will not let us do that. Any ideas please?
Director has lent money to the company. Interest is charged at 8% accrued on a daily basis and compounded.Is there a way that QB can be set up to automatically calculate the interest charge on the directors loan account?
When I run a tax summary report for the current tax year (2019/20) on the 'your turnover' tab it only shows the full description for the first 24 transactions out of 278. i.e. First 24 show 'FASTER PAYMENTS RECEIPT REF. 'Client ref' FROM 'Client Name''. Remaining 254 only show 'Faster Payment Receipt'. This is no good for me as I need to see all clients names. Is this a bug or is there a setting that needs turning on ?Any assistance much appreciated
