What if instead of subjecting people to glare from a bright white screen of QBO all day, QB offered a more comfortable alternative in the UK? Shouldn't we consider Dark Mode as a standard feature, especially since it's available for our counterparts in the US who prioritize eye comfort?

Hi. I have been using 2012 desktop for many years and now have to move to online which is a great shame. However on restoring an essential but historic company file (required for legal reasons) the programme is now asking for an administrator password which we have never set up. The utilities from QB to reset the password do not work. I tried setting up a new company which went ok until it was reopened and again, it is asking for the administrator password. Two other businesses continue to operate without issue in the same programme. Does anyone have any idea how to proceed please?

We received a business loan and it was entered in QBO as a long term liability. A bill was paid. We want to indicate in the accounting that the paid bill was from the loan. How do I decrease the loan without interrupting the bank feed for the payment made?Example: If we just accept the bank feed = decrease to bank account, increase to accounts payable.How do we decrease long term liability?I hope that makes sense. Hi everyone,so i am now stuck trying to bring all my data from qb self employed to qb online, after trying searching i have given up and qb are of no help at all.I was told by qb 6 weeks ago the self employed was the version i need, now they say it is the wrong version i am using as i am vat registered. However i cannot get my data across no how i need some professional help please if anyone can point mr in the right direction.thank you in advance.
Hello, My mobile Quick Books app doesn't track / sync mileage with online version. The app has live tracking on, I have went through all suggested settings and permissions to ensure that tracking is always on, but the mileage still doesn't correctly appear on online account. Occasionally I click "start" on the app (even though all time tracking is enabled) and some of the journeys in the last few days sync, but not all of them. In the last few days, none appear. Does anyone have any advice please?
So I tried using quickbooks self employed a few years ago , I couldn’t add different expenses , just stuck with what they deem is enough options but it’s clearly not. Well I’ve resigned up , and nothings changed , looking through other people’s suggestions that this should be an option dating back over 5 years ago , why haven’t they listened . I buy tools for my job so what the hell do they go under , it such a simple change but they refuse to help.

So I set up an account in QB and its the UK which is incorrect. I need to set up a Jersey one and I have spent a lot of time trying to get this sorted and no one in QB seems to be able to help. They say that you can just do it on line. I would like to talk to a human to help me. Every time I put the Jersey address in it redirects me to UK. Is there anyone out there that can help with this as the QB team don't seem to know how to do it and its so frustrating. Thank you in advance.
Good Morning Recently every time I send an invoice or receipt via my emails they get returned. I have always sent emailed invoices from my email and it has always been fine. Nothing has changed my end, they are the same invoices I have always sent to the receipts address. But now every single one get returned saying they are too small to read. And there is no way to make them bigger. Can you help fix this.
Hi, New QBO user here after being forced to move over from QB Desktop. So far not finding it too bad and finding some things better than QB Desktop but some other things not so good.I see there is an option to import bills but I do not see an option to import bills with items. Does anyone know if this is possible as my business is retail so most of my supplier bills are for purchase of stock.Also most supplier bills are not provided as CSV files, they are mostly PDF. Does anyone know of a way to import supplier PDF invoices with stock items included? Thank you
Hi I'm UK based but work globally, up to now i have billed my US clients as a fixed price in US$ but I now have a US client I need to bill hourly- How do you set up a $ service (There is no currency option in Services)If The client is not UK based you can't save a timesheet if you select billable If QBO can't handle hourly billable in a foreign currency any tips on a workaround for invoicing
Is there any way of editing the items that come up in the Tasks widget? Or at least making whole widget box bigger so all are can be on show at one time?I want to see 'Respond to your recurring template reminders' on the Home dashboard under Tasks, but this is now at the bottom of a list after 'Remind your customers', 'Pay overdue bill' and 'Pay bills due in the next week', none of which are my main priority.Is is not possible to customise the individual order of the tasks showing in the Tasks widget?

Hello, I would like to purchase QuickBooks Premier - Accountant Edition 2021 UK OR QuickBooks Pro 2021 UKDesktop versions (non - subscription) I can't find anywhere on the site where I can purchase licenses for these particular versions.
It says Live chat is available until "10pm British" but it's clearly not.It's not even 7pm here in London and it's already closed. I found the other day it was unavailable after about 6pm as well.
