I can track mileage but when I go into taxes it doesn’t appear.
To be accurate with names, I don't want to use 'Cash on Hand' account linked to my bank account, as I don't have cash on hand. Can I re-link the bank feed to another account, and transfer all the transactions (preferably not having to categorise them again)?
HMRC are closing the company accounts and tax return service to force people to use commercial software. Intuit do not appear in any of the lists of suppliers for Commercial Tax. Are they working on it, or should I start to seek an alternative supplier?

I'm experiencing an issue where some of our invoice emails are not being received by customers. This issue has only started in the last few months.
After searching for a client in invoices I want to export the data to excel to match with my bank transactions so I can see which invoices are unpaid. Any ideas? I have used the little icon top right with says download but it goes into a .json extension which I can't open.

QB online is running very slow on everything i try and do its so un bearable !Tried different places with different internet everything else online and my computer runs perfect no issues with internet.Cleared CACHE and cookies etcTried different computers such as apple and windowsTried different web browserstried rebooting all computers and routersNothing works.Something is wrong with my QB online which needs sorting ASAP as i can’t do my expenses invoices or anything its embarrassing and frustrating.Problem at QB end not mine for sure!!!Been like this for weeks now needs sorting fast.Even the online chat doesn’t work as no option to talk to anyone even though it says open Mon-Sun 8:00am til 10:00pmWhat’s going on!?!
I have had 2 extremely frustrating conversations with support over Live Chat (turns out it was an AI Bot!!) and as well as over a phone call - so I am hoping the a human from Intuit reads this post and can escalate. There seems to be a bug with the 'Bundle' products & services: 1. "Display bundle items when printing or sending transactions" does not work as expected - despite having it unchecked it still always shows on invoices/estimates. I tried unchecking on an existing bundle and a new bundle - both don't work. 2. I created a new 'test' bundle with no items, which did seem to display "Your customer won’t see any of the items in this bundle" on invoices however when I add products to the bundle they do not show on the invoice despite clearing visible on the bundle when I view the 'edit bundle' UI. I am using the latest version of Chrome, although the issue persists when using Safari, and I have tried clearing browser cache. Pleeeaaasse can someone look into this. Thank you!
And when I go to the transactions page within QuickBooks it still prompts me to connect an account although I already have connected an account. When I click refresh it hangs on “connecting to Monzo (UK)” and nothing ever happens so I have to close the app and re-open it.
I am trying to file my VAT return for the first quarter of 2025 (Jan 1 through 31st Mar). I notice however that on the list of previous returns that my previous return has the incorrect start and end dates. The previous return covered the last quarter of 2024 (1st Oct through 31 Dec) but it on the VAT screen in QB it is showing 1st Jan 2025 to 31st Mar 2025. When I submitted the return I received the correct dates on the QB confirmation email and my HMRC account shows it was submitted for the correct period. It just seems to be showing the wrong dates on my Past Returns section. I have one open return which is for the correct period (1st Jan to 31st Mar) and it is due tomorrow. I am reluctant to file it though because according to QB it will show I have submitted two returns or the same period.
QuickBooks representatives have confirmed that QBSE currently does not provide sufficient accounting information to be accepted by HMRC if they requested accounts from a Self Employed Business and also that QBSE would not "comply with HMRC's Making Tax Digital (MTD) regulations." (see thread here: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/learn-support/en-uk/other-questions/re-is-qbse-just-a-tax-return-aid-not-an-actual-accounting/01/1498659 ) Since all self employed businesses will need to comply with HMRC’s Making Tax Digital (MTD) in 2026 - Please can someone from Quickbooks confirm the following: Will QBSE be improved to be compatible with MTD before 2026? Will QBSE be improved to the degree that it would be acceptable by HMRC if they requested business accounts? Thank you.
I am following all the instructions given correctly, however it says error importing.
We have recently started with a new firm and wish to retain input of data within our business, so that nothing is posted to the accounts by an accounting firm.
We use ServiceM8 software which has an option to connect directly to our QuickBooks account, but we keep receiving an error which ServiceM8 have confirmed is not from their side. It seems it might be something to do with the particular QuickBooks plan that we’re on. Can anybody advise on this or has had the same problem?
