In Windows Startup we have an unknown entry as show in the attached image. The path, c:\program files(x86)\common files\intuit\quickbooks\" exists. The folder \qbupdate\ and file qbupdate.exe does both do not exist. We have Quickbooks Desktop installed installed in c:\program files\intuit\quickbooks 2024\". However qbupdate.exe exist in "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Intuit\QuickBooks\QBUpdate\" (this is the path in several places in the registry). I have not been able to figure out how to change the path c:\program files(x86)\common files\intuit\quickbooks\qbupdate.exe" to "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Intuit\QuickBooks\QBUpdate\qbupdate.exe", either a registry edit or via Quickbooks installation/repair. I did a repair, no solution. I uninstalled Quickbooks 2024, run a registry cleaner, rebooted the computer and re-installed QB 2024. That didn't solve the problem. HiMy QB desktop has expired. I dowloaded a Trial version to create my Accountant's copy for my accountant for year end.By the time the accountant uses my Accountant's copy, the software will have expired. Will the expiration date affect the Accountant's copy? Is the date stamped within the Accountant's copy file or is it just within the software.Can my accountant open the file with his valid non-trial version of QB? thanks

How can you find when a transaction was cleared in a bank rec without having to look through all of the bank rec reports? The credit card transaction or cheque will show as cleared, if I click report on the transaction it will show me the bill it is linked to but not the date of the reconciliation. It doesn't show anything under audit trail, under transaction history or transaction journal

We use a separate program for invoicing and payment collection, so we don't record invoices directly in QuickBooks Online (QBO). Why doesn't Intuit Canada just tell us there are currently no secure or user-friendly ways around 2-factor authentication for banking connections? Turning off 2-factor authentication temporarily in the bank app is an irresponsible cop-out. Nor should users have to resort to manual downloads. Clearing the browser cache may correct some issues but won't solve this issue. For now pleas make it explicit that for now there is no way around 2-factor for bank connections and as a consequence:The user who is the bank account administrator will have to respond to 2-factor authentication actions for the update; andOther users will have to depend on the primary admin to update the bank feeds. The current restrictions are not entirely on Intuit or the financials institutions. There are no technological barriers to resolving this issue. Hello! I am trying to update the sign-in information for my connected credit card (Home Depot). I have cleared my cache, cookies multiple times. It has given me two issues:1- When I click "Update my sign in information" It takes me to the Home Depot sign in & tells me my credentials are incorrect (THEY ARE NOT. I even changed the password to see if it would help). If I do try to sign in separately to the credit card at Home Depot.ca it does work just not via Quickbooks Online. 2-Now, when I click "Update my sign in information" it tries to open in another page however immediatley closes & I do not get the opportunity to enter credentials. (THIS IS THE CURRENT ISSUE NOW) I have updated my antivirus, cleared cache, cookies, restarted my system, added the websites as exceptions in my antivirus, disabled pop up blocker. Any suggestions? We are considering QB Enterprise Suite for 10 users. Our server is Windows 2008 and needs replacement. Is the database manager happy to run on a domain contoller, which would allow us to install 2022 Essentials, or does it require a non-DC domain member?
I'm having extreme difficulty getting QuickBooks Desktop to send invoices using Zoho Mail SMTP. I have tried the following combinations of SMTP settings in Edit > Preferences > Send Forms, but none seem to work.- SMTP: smtppro.zoho.com, PORT: 465, SSL: yes- SMTP: smtppro.zoho.com, PORT: 587, SSL: yes- SMTP: smtp.zoho.com, PORT: 465, SSL: yes- SMTP: smtp.zoho.com, PORT: 587, SSL: yes The Zoho account doesn't have MFA enabled but I've also tried setting up an application-specific password in the Zoho Security settings. Doesn't make a difference for either the app password or account password. When using the 465 port it hangs for a long time before prompting for "wrong password" but when using the 587 port it comes back immediately with the "wrong password" prompt. Is Zoho blocked by QuickBooks? I am able to use these SMTP settings in Outlook desktop and can send emails just fine.

QBO is saying that a transmitter number is not necessary anymore for downloading T4 slips however, I can not download the T4 slips, because Im getting an error saying it needs a transmitter number entered
I am using Windows 11, and the font size of the navigation bar or form tag at the top, as well as the information bar at the bottom, does not match my PC settings. Additionally, the navigation bar becomes misaligned when I move it to the second monitor (my PC is set up with dual monitors for work). If anyone has a solution, please share it with me. Thank you!

My company got some lease financing in foreign currency. As the monthly lease payments are going out of the foreign currency bank account of the company. So I need to open a Long Term Liability Account in Foreign Currency but Quickbooks Desktop has no such option. Can anyone guide me how to resolve the issue.
Hello, Every month I have to run 'Job Estimates vs Actuals Details' reports for over 50+ jobs. I navigate through the customer center, select the job, select 'Estimates vs Actuals', adjust for the current period and export to excel. Currently this is a manual process that takes several hours to complete. Is there a way to automate this process to save time instead of manually extracting the reports? I currently use Inuit Quickbooks Enterprise Solutions 22.0 via remote desktop access. Thank you!
