As a service company I have a number of different products in my "Products/Services List". I organise it by the supplying company and then by the category of product then name and SKU.  When creating and invoice, I go to add a product however it is organising by name instead of SKU number. I would prefer it to be organised by the SKU number I assigned.  How can I change how the "Products" are sorted when I go to create an invoice?

Hi,I am Munir. I have a few questions as under:Is every transaction, that we record in QB desktop in the shape of bill or invoice etc, recorded in Journal automatically by QuickBooks desktop. Are the entries that we record as journal entries also found in the same journal. Is there any figure in Profit and loss account or Balance sheet which is not found in Journal.   I shall be thankful for detailed replies. Munir

I have searched through all the help and have tried mutliple things and still cannot get to connectPlease help I really need to get my data connected.

My credit card connected account only shows transactions from September and October and not from January 1, 2023.My debit bank account connected account only shows transactions from April 2023 to October 2023

They would like to switch to qbo now but have plans of potentially closing the business in the next year and are concerned about having access to records for tax review purposes. They are currently using desktop pro 2012.

My question is _not_ "how do I generate a cash flow statement?". My question is "How can I break down a cash flow statement by period?" I'm trying to build a monthly cash flow forecast for 2024, and it would be useful to see the equivalent actual figures for comparison/ as a baseline. If I run an income statement, or a balance sheet, I can break it down using the "Show Columns" drop-down, but I don't see the drop-down in QB Desktop when I run the cash flow.  How can I breakdown the Dates into different periods? Many thanks!

All payroll information is accurately recorded. If i go to an individual employee I can see his advance balance. Yet I cannot find a report that accurately shows me how my balance in the Chart of accounts 'employee advances' comes together. Shouldn't I be able to run a report that tells me of the say $1,000 $300 is owed by employee x and 700 is owed by employee y? That obviously is information I might be looking for, and I cannot figure out how to get it.I would appreciate help with that.
