Every single time I enter an expense and click "Save and New", the payment account will change from the bank account to something completely random (CC Account, Savings, Payroll Liabilities, etc.). I have looked in the settings with the automation but nothing, it only happens with one client. Not a huge deal but it does get quite irritating. Help/Advice please.
I am using QB Desktop and I dowloaded the sample file so I can train a new employee. It seems as if the sample file thinks the fiscal year is 2027. All the reports come up with as December 2027. How can I change it so the report

I own a small restaurant that uses the Square POS. Square has an app that syncs each customer transaction with Quickbooks. I originally used this app, but ran into some issues with my undeposited funds account. Now this account has a balance of over 12k and I don't know what to do. With the square sync app the transactions from the POS come in as individual Square Customer invoices and automatically land in the "undeposited funds" account as payments. When the credit card is processed and the amount is deposited in my bank it creates a match connecting each original customer invoice to the lump deposit. When clicking "match" the undeposited funds balance is affected creating Square Customer deposits that zero out the account. Unfortunately cash has made this more complicated. Originally I didn't even know what the undeposited account was I would just blindly hit "match" and all my deposits would get directed to income. I had been so busy I didn't deal with my cash sales
I'm wondering if there is a way to quickly change the language of the invoice back and forth from English to Spanish. We print a copy of our invoices out for our customers to keep for their records and we have several Spanish-speaking customers. I'd like to be able to switch it to Spanish, print it for the customer, and then switch it back to English for us. Is there a way to do that? For now I have been using Google translate and just copying and pasting so I'm just wondering if there's a quicker way that I'm unaware of. Thanks for any feedback guys!

We shipped an order to a customer, so we completed our Sales Order, Invoice and Payment. We need to reverse the entire process as the customer never updated his address and the item was returned to us. We are using Quickbooks Desktop Accountant 2021. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

We recently upgraded to QB Advanced, and are new to the whole workflow systems. We set up 2 employees to have access to approve bills. On our workflow we created we added a total of 4 people (the two employees, and two admin). We really don't need every single person to approve. We just need one of the 4. We put 4 just so more people can have access in case someone else cant. My question is, do we need a workflow? or can we turn that off? If we were to turn it off would that allow anyone with access to approve bills, to approve any bill?

Currently I have 5 clients using desktop payroll on QB2023. The payroll information for the time period 5/223 to 5 2024 is missing on one client.. It was there three weeks ago. I have spent hours with tech support and and they have done nothing positive for me. My concerns are: Only one company has an issue I restored a compnay backu p from April and that backup is also missing the information.This would indicate to me that th issue is with the specific compnay file. I use QBTIME. When it was Tsheets I never had a problem with my personal information being sold. As far as I know. However, I have been recently getting emails from people trying to get my business. (Forbes wants me to advertise in their magazine...) I am very strict about giving my information away, and when I start getting "spam" in my inbox (where I never have received it before) I figured out through the way they were addressing me, my business name, and my business email address... QBTIME. They took my information from QBTIME and are selling it to their partners. QBTime addresses me in a very specific way. And these random people are addressing me in the very same way. I know for a fact without having to be told. If you'd like to reach me before I reach out to my lawyer, I think that would be a good idea. A purchase order was created in May for a generic quantity. The goods were received in June for less than that PO quantity but QB will not allow my to close the PO. The message I'm getting is:This modification will affect transactions from closed periods and could also affect previous financial reports.You must enter the "closing date" password to make this change.This does not make sense to me since the goods were received in June and June is still open.
Good morning, I have to condense my clients quickbooks desktop file so I can send it to a software company for data migration. I currently cannot do so as it is stating ""An accountants copy exists for your company file. You must either import or cancel your Accountants changes before you can run the condense process." I don't need the condensed file to be perfectly accurate as it's a test run. Is there a workaround for this that isn't waiting for the accountant?
I'm hoping someone has experience this and has a solution, as it's a pretty bad problem and Intuit should be ashamed!!!There are 2 major issues when sending an estimate.1) When I click Save and Send, the email preview shows up with the option for the customer to hit "Save and Print", which is the way it always was. However, when the customer receives it, it instead says "Review and Pay". This is an estimate and I've already had a handful of customers reach out in confusion. It's embarrassing for my company to send out estimates with such misleading instructions.2) On top of that, in my template, I do not show to the customers "Product or Service", "Qty" or "Rate". Most of my items are simple, such as "Provide and install light fixture, in place of existing light fixture." where I don't need to jumble up the estimate with unnecessary information...
