System drops tab in middle of posting?
I'm moving a client from QuickBooks Desktop Pro to QuickBooks Online. Some of the customer contacts have a lot of notes regarding historical issues that we need to retain somehow. I'm searching for a CRM for them, but in the meantime, I need to make sure this data isn't lost. Is there a way to export the notes? Thank you for your help!

The link prompts me to sign in to my account and upon doing so, takes me to a bugged out Quickbook home screen. No details related to the 1099 are available, there is no client tab to find said documents.
Of recent I noted Quickbooks Pro 2014 has been opening to the Windows Task Bar minimized after the password entry. Only a password screen appears then the software dives down into the Task Bar. The user must then look to the Taskbar and open to gain access to the software. Anyone know the reason for this behavior?
I billed this company through Bill.com, and while I do use QB/Intuit for other clients, I've never used this QuickBooks Self Employed thing before. The email I got says "[Client] sent your 1099 with QuickBooks. Set up your free Intuit account to view it." When I log into my account it brings me to a new dashboard for QB Self Employed, and I can't find this 1099 anywhere. Also, when I go to the Taxes section, it shows $0 in this year's transactions. Where am I going wrong?
For example, I have 100 of the same item in stock (same sku). 20 items from vendor A at $0.50/ea and sales tax was paid at purchase 80 items from vendor B at $0.55/ea and no tax was collected at purchase. My customer wants to purchase 90 items from me. Obviously this will require items from both vendors so how will QuickBooks know the tax will be different for each since some was paid already?

I wcurrently use QB Desktop Pro 2021. As I've been advised, my Intuit Enhanced Payroll subscription (just paid $689 in February!) will no longer work after May. Rather than incur the expense of updating to a QB 2024 subscription, it has been suggested that I can continue to use my 2021 version forever by utilizing a standalone service or software. Does anyone have ideas what would be easy to use and hopefully integrate with Quickbooks? We only have two employees, all others are 1099s. Thank you.
I am wrapping up my ProAdvisor training, and doing some practice runs. I have not yet established a business bank account. I was paid for providing some misc. admin. work for a client. I created an invoice. Then, I received payment and posted the payment to Undeposited Funds (since I don't have a bank account). I was paid cash. QBO assumes users have bank accounts to match Undeposited Funds to a transactions in a bank feed. How do I recognize the income without a bank account, a journal entry? I am aware that posting a JE will not map to a customer. Since I am just getting started, I am ok with that. Suggestions? Thank you!
Is anyone else getting a status 400 - Bad request page when logging in to self employed? I haven’t been able to log in for days.

I have been trying for days to login to my account but every time I get and error. A week or two ago I could log in and had the option to press the button to bring me to the turbo tax with my information, but now I can't even login.
Hello,I have many transactions with receipts that "needs action." However, when I review the receipt info there is no way to confirm it is correct. I click the "update button" and I get an error that says "can't find a matching transaction" and then asks "attach this receipt to an existing transaction?". I click yes, as the transaction is very much existing, and nothing happens. The screen doesn't change and I have no way of moving forward. Anybody else having this issue?Many help or suggestions are much appreciated!Lindsay
HI, I am looking to see how to group Line Items so they all appear as 1 Line Item on the customer Invoice. I have tried the 'List/Item List/New" but don't see Group as an option, and all the other instructions I found were for the Online version. I should note that I am not an admin, so not sure of that is why. The Acctg Team (Admins) says we can't bill against different line items, which is what we(Finance) want, without all those lines showing up on the customer invoice. Since I know grouping/bundling is an option, I am just trying to get some direction on how to do that in our version, so I can ask the Accounting Team to try it out.Any help is appreciated!
Since upgrading from QB Desktop 2023 to 2024 last week, the first time I log in each day the QuickBooks Desktop Usage & Analysis Study window pops up. I have selected 'Cancel' and 'Continue' several times, along with going to Help > QuickBooks Desktop Usage & Analysis Study > Discontinue, multiple times.. How do I stop this?! According to Intuit, "Once you turn it off, you can't turn it on again", which is a lie.
How can I report a loss of product in Quickbooks desktop? We do not track inventory. But I want a way to show the loss of bad product. I appreciate your help.
In our bank transactions, we have "dividend from money market" and "reinvestment into money market." I think I need to study what money market is first, but is my understanding correct that the dividend from money market should be credited into dividend and reinvestment should be debited into investment?
Can you manage users for companies without an intuit account. We have upgraded from 2012 and our users were managed locally without a third-party intermediary. Will we run into issues if we keep our current users and don't set up an intuit account within the 28 days.
Predefined roles offer narrow scope with read/write permissions... I'm looking to create a role that has broad scope with read only permissions. Reports Only Role doesn't give access to many of the options my board would like to have access to... to view data. This has been complicated by the fact that current basic standard reports are unavailable in QBO Advanced: Balance Sheet, P&L Summary, P&L Detail. Anyone know how to create these as custom reports while I wait on QB Support to fix their issue? Thanks Bill McKinney
