I am using QuickBooks Accountant Desktop Plus 2023 on Windows 10 Home, 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor. Under Edit, Preferences, Send Forms, Company Preferences Tab, the delivery method default is E-Mail, the email template is Pay Stubs, and I have a custom template setup and marked as default. The default template is not being used when emailing the employees' pay stubs. I have toggled back to Basic Pay Stub Template, saved the selection and closed out of Edit Preferences, then gone back in to Edit, Preferences and reset the Custom Template as the Default but this still won't select the Default Template used when emailing pay stubs. I have tried Rebuilding the Data, Verifying the Data, running the Repair in the Program List in the Control Panel and uninstalling then reinstalling the program. Nothing seems to be working. Sure hope someone has a solution for this! This is costing me a lot of time. 😞

I am using the "Snap Receipt" option on the Quickbooks app. When I put the document in the camera frame and it shows the whole thing highlighted in green, I push the shutter button. And, it takes a picture of the top corner (or some other small portion) of the document. I'd say it does this at least 75% of the time. It does the same thing to my husband when he does it on his phone. It's so frustrating. Any solutions
I have removed additional recipients from the email addresses of our customers. However, when I send out reminders, the email address is still incorrect. Why.

Not only does Intuit inundate me with ads for undesired product offerings on QuickBooks, now they are physically mailing loan offers. It is interesting to see Intuit leadership move backwards, lose focus and burn money like a 2000s era Dot Com. Here is a non-exhaustive listing of the ways Intuit and QuickBooks disappoints:Spending more on lobbying efforts than product improvementsPushing people to pay more than they need to (Looking at you TurboTax) Constantly pushing people to provide "feedback" for issuesNever doing anything with "feedback"Not learning the lesson in 2008 that accounting software companies should not offer lendingEmploying individuals to comment on topics they know nothing aboutNot allowing journal entries to be imported and lamely blaming it on accounting standards (fyi that's a lie). The proliferation of ads on the paid site are terrible. Adding physical ads to the mail is just sad.

Hello...we have QB enterprise desktop and have been having issues with inventoy adjustments. We had some changes with a warehouse move and had to adjust some inventory in as well as out. Most of the inventory we had to adjust out was damaged. In was mostly ierms that either were not received properly before or just not counted before.1 What is the proper way to do an inventory adjustment on a damaged piece we need to discard?2 If we find inventory that wasnt in QB what is the way to enter it in so that it doesnt show as a credit on sales? SO far we had done it under cost of goods, but it seems its showing as a credit on sales which is making it look like our profits are better on sales than they actually are? What are we doing wrong? Appreciate any help.

I keep getting this error code every time I open quickbooks. It goes off every 30 seconds or so. I recently upgraded my laptop and added a new company and then this started. I save my backups to OneDrive and haven't ever had this problem before. I followed the instructions to fix it, but it continues to pop up....any one else? I called the number under the error as suggested but no one can remote in only my IT Team through my company. Can anyone help me please?!?!
Hello, I could really use some help categorizing purchases for my small retail store. For reference we rent and do not own. Some of the items I'm trying to figure out the best way to categorize:- Store retail shelving- Interior store sign & a-frame sign- Garden tools and planters- Paint- Hardware like brackets, screws, weatherstripping- Cleaning supplies- Electrical - outlets, wiring, etc- Millwork- Retail display materials like wooden jewelry holders, acrylic stands, etc. Thanks in advance!

When I open my expense window and select filter by vendor, the APPLY button is below my screen where I cannot select and when I try scroll up on the very right the pop-up disappears. Everytime I have to maneuver the very right scrolling to just the right place in order to see the pop-up apply button.
Has anyone actually tried to Export transactions as CVS and Import those transactions into a different Company file using QB Desktop MAC? Doubtful. I made the mistake of entering about 10 transactions into an old version of my company file. Unbelievably, when you Export those Transactions as CVS file you will find the the Column Headers or Fields DO NOT MATCH AT ALL when you try to Import into a different company file (in my case 2 versions of the SAME Company file!). The Exported CVS file has 10 Columns/Fields. The Import Window in the target Company file has over 20 Columns/Fields. The online information says to make sure these Columns/Fields match by editing the CVS file before Importing. These Columns/Fields are so off that the time taken to edit them can be significantly shortened by just Re-Entering the Transactions from scratch. What a complete waste of time even trying to Search online for this incompatible solution.
Will my Quickbooks Desktop Pro 2021 continue to work offline if I do not upgrade after July 2024?
My company is a US Department of Defense prime contractor. Due to the nature of our DoD contracts, ALL systems are required to have FIPS 140-2 enabled and working. However, when we enable the FIPS 140-2 policy in GPO on our Windows 11 workstations QuickBooks Enterprise will not load. This is a significant issue for us we are subject to 3rd party audits to verify compliance under the DoD Risk Management Framework for DoD Systems (DODI 8510.01), and the pending DOD CMMC framework. I have read the instructions several times about how to turn on automatic invoice reminders. However, when I go to company settings/sales/reminders there is NOT an option to switch on automatic invoice remeinders. Anyone else had this issue?
