I can pull up a list of Sales Orders using the "Open Sales Order by Customer" or "Open Sales Order by Item", but when I click on any of the Sales Orders listed, nothing happens.

I am the bookkeeper for 2 sister centers. Sometimes our clients pay the "wrong/opposite" center so we have to transfer the funds to the "correct"/other center. Further, there are loans between the centers, as well as loans from the owners. So I was directed to start an "Other Liability" account called "Loan From", with subaccounts to distinguish between the two. Some of the funds are dedicated to a Customer but sitting in the Loan From. I can & do invoice the customer as per normal but currently the dedicated funds are still in Loan From. Is there a way to credit the customer directly from Loan From (preferred) account? Or, if not, what is the best way to account for the payment into income, but also pull the amount FROM the Loan From account? How to do this w/o unduly crediting/debiting the wrong accounts? Is this even possible or should i set up the Loan From account differently? Thanks so much!!!! WendiK
invoice included a tip, so I am wanting to see how this works. Restaurant business - new to this type of company accounting
I have used QuickBooks for many years and used the online version now for quite some time. Probably around 3 years ago, reminders on the Reminders List stopped reflecting when they were fulfilled or ever showing they are fulfilled at all. I have chatted with QuickBooks reps via the chat feature, spoken with them on the phone, and exchanged emails regarding this issue. In all of this time, they have never helped me or fixed the problem. This makes the Reminders List nearly useless. I used to be able to actually look at this list and see if I missed receiving a bill that month or missed recording a payment to a credit card, etc. Now, I have 173 pages of reminders showing on my Reminders List, and most have been fulfilled. I would have many more pages if I didn't manually go through occasionally and tell QB to "skip" some of the dates that called for action. It is very annoying that something that once worked so well is somehow not being fixed. Do other business not utilize the Reminders
Has anyone successfully used any scripts in their browser configuration to automatically clear your cache throughout the day while using QBOA? It is loading a monstrous amount of data into cache for tracking and other purposes and makes the system unstable by around midday. Going in and manually deleting the cached files is burdensome and sometimes ill-timed when you are typing and the system starts getting sluggish and unstable. (or it cannot save your work). Here is what I've tried:-I run QBOA only in Firefox, which I don't use for anything else.-I set Firefox to clear all cached files and cookies when it is closed to be sure that day-over-day use isn't building up.-I cleared the cache, checked it confirmed it had cleared in "about:cache"-I logged back into QBOA fresh and then checked cache again. It is putting enormous amounts of data into cache immediately at logging in and bogs down the system rapidly as it adds more and more tracking data while in use.So, because I don't have hour
Good Morning, I am using the “bulk enter transactions” feature to enter bills, and using the class column to apply them to a class. However, the class is only being applied to the account line item and not the whole transaction. Therefore, when I run reports and filter using class it’s not pulling up. Is there a way to get the class to apply to the whole transaction in bulk entry?
HI! I currently work in QB Desktop and have a question about accessing finance charges. If a customer goes beyond the grace period is a finance charge invoice automatically created by QB's or do I have to go into access finance charges each time? We are looking for an automated process of sending finance charges each month. For example, a customer is now 70 days past due and the grace period is 30 days from due date which is due upon receipt. Will a finance charge invoice auto generate for the 2nd 30 days past due? Thank you in advance for the support!!!
QBO will no longer load (as of this morning) on FireFox [latest version]. It gets stuck with the 4 spinning dots at the main web portal page: https://qbo.intuit.com/app/ Support also won't work correct since it requires login, which won't work on FF. Works normally on Chrome, so we know it's not a total outage, but rather some kind of update that killed the app for FireFox. We've done all the usual troubleshooting (cleared cache, cookies, etc.) to no avail... Any ideas on why this won't load any more, or anyone else seeing this or can verify? Also seeing auth issues trying to post to support from FF, see attached. Makes me think that something with a security cookie isn't responding correctly on FireFox browsers anymore. Thanks!
There's a reminder to "Open Online backup" that I cannot get to go away. I've tried opening it, opening it and backing up, turning it off to no avail. Please help.
In desktop, you could go to a Customer and all their invoices would be listed in a side bar, you could just click in the sidebar and go from one invoice to the next. In QBO, is there a way to do this? There are the left and right arrows on either side of the invoice number, but when you click one, it goes to the next numerical invoice, not the next invoice for that particular customer. I frequently need to access previous invoices and it's such a pain finding that ONE invoice in a sea of invoices. Search function is absolutely useless, it hardly ever finds what I am looking for.
Quickbooks is not saving invoices. It will let me create customer accounts but I can't save invoices. This is frustrating as we do over hundreds of invoices a week. This is disrupting business. This is not a cache issue or anything they describe, this is on QuickBooks side as we are having its happening on all our computers even employees working from home! We need this fixed ASAP.
I have been using the Square app for years to import transactions. As of February 1st, the imported transactions all come into QB *without* the sales tax checkbox checked, and the associated sales receipt for the day has a new line item called Sales Tax Item. The byproduct of this is that when I view the Sales Tax report for February, QB thinks my taxable sales are *way lower* than what they actually were. Is this a settings thing? A change on Square's end? A problem with the Square import app? Has anyone else noticed a change in how their Square sales are imported into QB?
I need to access 2024 Expenses that were already posted but cannot adjust the Date Box to give me access to the entire year of 2024. Can you tell me what I have to do to resolve this issue?
Trying to be cost effective. If I charge a security payment and pay the 3% transaction fee is that 3% refunded to me when I refund their security deposit? Is there a way to hold funds on a customers card but not actually withdrawl the funds and pay a fee unless necessary? If all goes to plan I shouldn't have to take any monies from security deposits.
This can be done in Desktop. Haven't been able to find in Online.
Quickbooks app is not opening. I have uninstalled and reinstalled
For users that have Quickbooks Desktop roles that require an Intuit account linked to their email id, in a new deployment, the window which would normally display a login prompt is just hour glassing. This was not happening at the previous site/deployment where Quickbooks users worked. My proxy team reports that no internet traffic is being blocked. While I am skeptical of this, I'm wondering if the QB community or engineers have any experience with this issue.
