I am trying to import invoices daily to QB but i dont want to allocate an invoice number. How do i import invoices and QB assign the next available invoice number to the invoice as at the minute when i tried to import a csv it says it cant as there is no invocie number on my csv Thanks
I always have to go back to categorised and scroll to the dates I'm working on again, v. annoying.
Hi, I have a client with a transaction type of "Pledge". This is not an item type. This is a transaction type. Invoice was renamed Pledge. When you open a pledge, it says "Invoice" in the upper left hand corner.How do I rename Pledge to something else?Thanks in advance.

If I have a customer who has overpaid a group recharge invoice by a few dollars how can I apply a customer charge to clear this balance to nil? Ideally want to just dr receivable cr bank charges. You cannot apply a negative credit note.Thanks,David
Transaction detail by account do not filter it in terms of classeswhereas Sales by class detail does that. the problem with sales by class report is that it breaks data like for e.g.Row 1 shows sales amount (20000*1) = 20000Row 2 shows Discount amount (1000) = -1000Total Net amount = 19000But what I see in Transaction detail report its shows just one rowRow 1 = 19000 (but does not separate classes). I want this report with class separation.Sales by class detail or summary is not the way i want it .Please help thanks
Hi everyone. I'm in the process of moving over from Zoho to quickbooks and I'm having some issues with viewing and adding my expenses. I've added my bank account on the transactions page and its downloaded all my transactions.When I go to the expenses page I can't see any expenses, it just says the following; All your expenses in one placeSave hours of work by tracking expenses automaticallySee how it works (3:00s)1. Import expenses from your bank and credit cards2. Categorise expenses to be ready for tax time3. See where you're spending your money Connect BankAdd Expense Manually I thought I already connected my bank in the transaction section? I tried connecting my bank in Expenses but I can't as I already added it in Transactions. I tried adding expense manually but when I go back to the expenses page upon adding it, it just goes back to that screen. Hope someone can help. Thanks

So been using self employed QB for a few years but now moved onto the full hit for VAT! We have an approved Reduced rate of 5% (FRS) and have recorded that within QB's. Then have added a FRS VAT Rate for both sales and expenses that looks (?) correct but every time I try to apply it to a sales transaction I get an error saying to try re- applying it and when applying to an expense it does not even show in the drop down list?So question - is this the correct way of doing it ie creating a new rate or am I missing something (had actually assumed that QB would do this automatically once I had enabled VAT and confirmed FRS)?
I just registered for VAT but have already put some transaction onto the system for the month my VAT registration is valid from. How can I amend it so it takes into account when calculating what I need to pay?
Help please!I am trying to allocate bank transactions. I have a couple of Amazon orders where only part of the order is business related. How do I partially allocate the transaction whilst excluding the personal amount?? Many thanks
Can anyone walk me through this please. Client uses Wix for their website sales. No sales invoices issued. Sales to UK and overseas so both VAT Rates. I intend to download a sales report from Wix. Assuming I need a dummy Wix Clearing Bank Account to receive the Stripe and Paypal money into. Paypal is linked to QBO but Stripe is not. Net payments received from Paypal. Unsure how many clearing accounts I actually need? Do I transfer money from Wix Clearing Account to Paypal and then Transfer to main trading account? Can someone walk me through this please? Thanks
