Hello I have Quickbooks Online multi-currency enabled. I have several clients who I invoice and receive payments from in a different currency account (Euros). I am trying to match these euro invoices to their corresponding transactions (which were send to my second, euro account). But unlike when viewing transactions for my home currency account, here there is no “Find Match” button. So I can't match it to the corresponding invoice. So my question is how do I correctly categorise these transactions while simultaneously marking that the invoice is no longer outstanding? More info: As you can see in the screenshot, I'm in the list of "For Review" transactions under the Banking > Transactions menu. There is no suggested match (even though the corresponding invoice is on Quickbooks already) nor is there a "Find a Match" button for me to find it manually. So how do I match the two? Thanks!Emily
Hi I have multiple receipts uploaded separately which all relate to one transaction (bill). In reviewing, I am unable to match all into the same transaction, despite the same information being entered for each and instead QB wants me to create separate bills. Can anyone advise how to attach all to the one transaction. I'm using QB Online. Thanks
How do I change exclusive of tax to inclusive of tax in sales receipt? I want Undeposited Funds to only include the Sales Amount and the Sales Tax to post to Expense.
My organisation might pay a cleaning company for working for a number of our clients and I want to see the expenditure broken down by client. In my desktop QB, I could split the payment into a number of lines and have a memo field in each line, indicating which client the work was done for.
Hello,I'm posing an invoice (from a supplier we use every month) and I've created a bill for professional services and it's posting it as a stock adjustment. I've checked that I've only filled in the top category section and nothing is showing in the items section. I've looked at the supplier details and nothing has changed there, I've also reviewed the accounting code for it's placement in the chart of accounts and it's not a stock code. Is this a glitch or am I missing something obvious? I just want to post it to P&L expense! Any help most welcome Thanks Liz
When uploading receipts via email some are showing as not found yet they are clear PDF's and can be from the same supplier it will recognize one but not another why would that be? I'm having to manually create expenses when there are clear matches it is not finding?
Hi,My Current Account transactions are automatically synced with QBO, and I have a couple transactions that were refunded but I can't figure out how to categorise them. If someone can assist with this please? Thanks
The status column says "due in x days (not sent)" but I cannot tell the difference between draft invoices and ones that have been sent. I just want QB to mark as sent when I print them out.
I am using QuickBooks desktop. I have a tenant who didn't pay the rent, and it has been agreed to take the owing payments from the Rent deposit held. The rent deposit is held in a separate bank account, which i have setup in QuickBooks, and the money deposited when it was received under the account "Tenant Security Deposits Held", which is under "Other current liability" account type. We used to send the tenant an invoice when the rent was due, so under their customer it shows the owing invoices, and the correct balance. How do i record the deposit being transferred to the rental bank account, and also apply the amount to the open invoices, so that the balance owing is reduced.
May be more of an accountant question but I already assumed that I need to attach my invoice/receipts to every outgoing business transaction, but what about the incoming transactions? When my customers pay me, do I need to attach their invoice to the transaction? Even though the invoice was created through quickbooks anyway? How comes there isn't a way of assigning an incoming transaction to an invoice I have created? I'm using Quickbooks Self Employed. Thanks!
My previous QB desktop had very good search customer search facility
