I have paid a deposit of £60 to a supplier, showing up on my Bank transactions. 2 days later they return £20 showing on my bank transactions as the cost of the tool hire was only £40. How do I record this in QB online and match the bank transactions off?
New to quickbooks, and using 4.0.9.35 on Mac.I am trying to enter a bill, instead of an expense, as I do not intend to pay the bill just yet.But I cannot see "enter a new bill" anywhere...Am I missing something? Please help. Thanks
Unable to refresh my bank transactions (Santander). Every time I 'update', I get a 'Somethings not quite right' message saying 'An error occurred downloading your latest bank transactions. Please try again in a few minutes.' This has been going on 5 hours.Steps I've taken so far are:Changed browser from Chrome to MS EdgeTried using Chrome incognitoCleared the cache and cookies and restarted ChromeChecked that I was able log in to the bank websiteBut none of the above has worked.I'm considering disconnecting and reconnecting my bank accounts, but concerned that it might duplicate all the transactions I have so far.Am I alone with this or is it a known issue that's being worked on?
How to add a penalty item that is compounding for each outstanding invoices? We bill our tenants monthly for association dues.
I need to know the date a bill is paid. Sometimes there is a bill payment shown for a bill but not always. The bill says paid in full but I have now idea when it was paid. How do I know what date it was actually paid? I have even done a search for that amount and it only shows the PO and the bill.
Hi I have recently set up the banking facility on QB Online. I originally set up the link to the bank last week. I had a few issues downloading the individual transactions, and so I added the various bank postings manually, as well as the opening balance on the bank account (as at 1 November). All seemed good - the QB bank balance matched the Bank Account balance. Today I linked the QB to my bank again, and this time everything worked perfectly, with 20 or so transactions downloaded from the bank, onto the "For Review" tab in the Banking section. However, two receipts from the bank showing in the Review Tab, are receipts which I have already manually added, and have already been matched to the relevant invoice. (Both receipts hit the bank on the day I performed the initial download, so I suspect there was a timing issue somewhere). So - I need to reverse / cancel my manual posting from last week
Dear All,Let me paint the picture. I am VAT registered and uses the VAT cash accounting scheme. Lets assume I am the QBO user and I have been making monthly standing order payments from the business bank account to a supplier based on an agreed fee quote for book keeping & accountancy services in advance. I have now made several payments from the business bank account. However the supplier has only invoiced me for some of the services and so far I have raised these bills. But I am struggling to match the monthly payments to the bills as the amounts are unequal to the monthly standing order payments (even though at the end of the year total payments will equal to the bills to be raised later on). Because I am VAT registered I would want to claim the input VAT on the payment as I go along. An example would be say a monthly standing order payment of £180 but the bill I have raised is just for £75 for payroll services. In a situation like this when I login and
