Is there a way to select an AP sub-account to assign a bill to when it is entered? Or adjust the credit afterwards? I have different sub-accounts under AP for different types of payables but when I enter a bill I don't get an option to credit any account, QB just automatically assigns it to general AP. The only account selection option is for the debit (expense) account. I have tried changing the credit account afterward in the transaction drilldown journal but QB won't let me change the account. I guess the only way around this is to enter bills as journal entries. But unfortunately tags aren't available in individual journal entries, and I use them on bills frequently. Is there a workaround here?
Where can I find the transaction journal entries for our customer invoices, using Quickbooks online? I need to see how the invoice that is imported uses each account, and how to map the correct account numbers to each transaction line. I don't see where Quickbooks online allows that access for more than a general knowledge of accounting.

How can I assess finance charges to show on statement to each individual invoice and not just a finance charge for the total balance owed?
Anyone have experience with QB data recovery services?
Hello all. Hopefully someone can help!I'm a small business manager who has taught himself Quickbooks/Accounting from scratch for the past year or so.I didn't realise however, that bank reconciliation was a vital part.I'm trying to reconcile now but have an issue. In my books I have my main bank account linked, which updates transactions and I record them accordingly. I also have a "Subsistence" account on my books, which I created, into which I transfer x amount every week or so. This is a tax free allowance for traveling as part of my job.I expense day to day items which aren't exclusively business expenses from this account. The issue is when reconciling, the reconciliation process only sees the total transfer and not the individual expenses so the balance is off. When I run a reconciliation from the company beginning date to the most recent statement date, it pretty much matches the balance of my subsistence account, so I'm confident all transactions and amounts were
Nothing at the bank has changed. I have other accounts at the same bank that are connecting just fine.
I am trying to transfer client to another profile and I get the following error message:"We're sorry, but client consolidation is temporarily unavailable" Is this a temporary error or will it be resolved soon?
The 'export' tool only allows me to export the most recent and/or not-previously exported transactions. I would like to export all of the transactions year-to-date for import into a new version of QuickBooks. How do I export all transactions?
As a Washington state business I file my sales and B&O tax report monthly. The report is due by the 25th of the month (or next business day). However, QBO shows the due date as the 20th of the month. I've not been able to find where to change this date. Any help would be appreciated.
I work for a construction company, We have vendors that complete us jobs, They can work on more than one job at a time. They usually start with an estimate and than bill thru progress billing.I'm wondering if there's a way at my end to create vendor estimates so i can keep track how much was billed already and how much is still open.
My bank was bought out and merged into a different bank. My bank name and routing number changed but my account number stayed the same. Do I have to create a new banking account in QB and somehow transfer the funds from the old account to the new account? Or just change the name and routing number on the old account?
We have RFID toll passes in the cars that we use to visit clients. The toll pass subscriptions are paid by the company. With QB Desktop we would manually add the correct toll amount for a trip in an expense report and flag it as billable to the client. The income from that expense was not linked to the expense of paying for the toll subscription. How do I handle this in QBO? Do I create an expense report with the company as the vendor? If I do that, do I use Travel Expenses as the account for the income resulting from the charge to the client?
We have Quickbooks Pro Desktop and need our IT team to contact QB support. Because IT is not on the account, support cannot help them. How do we add our IT team to our account without having to add additional licenses?

I have checked the gear icon, my account settings, and menu settings. I have also switched between business and accountant views. Searching online keeps bringing me back to the same QB article describing how to access it under Settings. When logging into QBO, the prompt is not listed under any settings menu.
going from online to desk top now my ending balance is way way off what can I do?
how do i check to see if someone actually is a quickbooks pro advisor
