Hello, For QuickBooks Desktop Payroll, how do I add a client's company file to my payroll subscription? I have an active service key; how do I add the client company to my payroll subscription so I can process payroll? Whenever I try to do anything in the client's QuickBooks file payroll wise, it asks for prior bookkeeper's subscription info. Do I have to ask for their info and change it to mine when I sign in? I have QuickBooks 2022 Desktop Premiere Accountant Edition if that helps. Thank you!
QB will not let me save invoices without entering an email address. I dont email invoices, and dont accept online paymnets. How do I turn this off?
I was fiduciary for my parents and managed their financial transactions as one of my wholesale clients. They are now both deceased and I want to remove them from my wholesale client list but I don't want to transfer the account to a personal account (there is no need to manage it any longer). I just want to totally delete it. How do I accomplish that?
I thought I could run a Deposit Detail then Check Detail, but the reports don't total, I'd have to export and make quite a few changes. Is there a way to get a total on these reports?

I received the email that my data is now available in Quickbooks Online, but when I use the link to complete setup, it says "Your company is almost ready. We're moving your QuickBooks Desktop data to QuickBooks Online. We'll send you an email when we're done." I've been trying to get this data converted for over 3 days. Is there anything I can do to reset it from this state so at the very least I could start uploading individual lists rather than trying to rely on the entire file to export?
I have added money into my square checking account from my personal bank account, QuickBooks is seeing the transaction as a spent transaction and is saying that the money is coming from my square checking's to my square checking's, and it will not allow me to add the transaction correctly. how do I resolve this?
I went to sign up a client tonight and told them if I invited them, it would be less expensive (usually that is the case). However, she is able to sign up for essentials ON HER OWN right now at $27.50 per month and I can only offer $38.50 a month… that is not okay. That makes us CPA professionals look really bad!
Hi,This morning I created some problem for myself. I have QB online. I also have/had an Accountant Online.The QB online was my mainstay and I enacted the Accountant online (didn't cost anything) some months/years ago to play around, but never used it. This morning I was playing around and went into Accountant online and tried importing My company, which maybe I did correctly? I was just seeing what that would look like.. anyway, now I can't get back to be able to log in just as my company, and even in accountant view, I cannot see my company.... so need help. :-)Thanks!Dan
I downloaded my bank transactions into QB online starting 1/6/22. When I attempt to complete my 1st QB reconciliation, QB shows my balance is off by -$4000. If I uncheck the $4000 transfer transaction from 1/6/22, the account balance reconciles to $0.00. It appears that this transaction didn't get downloaded at the time I downloaded my transactions from the bank. Wouldn't this transfer amount have already been included in the bank's transaction total for 1/6/22? Also, the bank shows 4 deposits for the statement period and only one of them was for $4000. It appears that this $4000 transaction is being counted twice because when I uncheck the transfer transaction, the account reconciles to 0.00. How do I correct this? Can the transfer be voided or deleted without throwing off the balance of the account from which it was transferred? I appreciate help anyone can offer me.sincerely,Ginny

When I export it only goes back to 2020 not 2018 when we started QBO.
Using Desktop 2021 nonprofit premier plus edition. Each time I open QB it logs me in. (As to why, that's another discussion.) Every couple of weeks a screen pops up and says, "You have not logged in over 55 days" - or some other number. It then takes several minutes before it lets me do anything else while also generating a screen which tells me all the supposed benefits of being logged in. The irony here, while amusing at first, got old quick. I'd like to disable this annoyance. Any insights as to how to do so would be appreciated.

The company email address was changed years ago in QB's. When asked to login, the system still prefills the old address. I have to change it to the new address every time for it to work. Also, when asked to do the two part verification, the system still uses the old email address. I am forced to only use the cell phone text message. This old email address is no longer associated with the business in any way. How can it be removed for good?
