Is it possible to import all historical data from one QB Online to a new one for the same company? Our current QB Online is not working and tech support has no solution. We would like to create a new QB Online and import all the data out of the old one.
Enough is enough, seriously. How do I DISABLE this new intuit.com login requirement on my admin account? So you are going to deny access to my data if I don't jump through your hoop? What about if I choose to only allow my PC on the internet for payroll updates? REMOVE THIS FEATURE NOW.... I do not want to create a login for EVERY QB file, besides being a breach of confidentiality it is blatant anti-trust violations. It's not the little office hackers are after anyway, its the gold mine of data in clueless corporate giants such as Intuit that are the target. SO, HOW DO I DISABLE THIS and release my company files held hostage??
Subject Line says it all. I'm the account administrator.
My auditors need a SOC1 report. How can i get a Sarbanes Oxley SOC1 report for QBO?
Current attestation is required for me to answer SAQ-A section 12.8
How does QuickBooks time tracking work?
Hi! I've been using multicurrency to track ETH for some time. When I turned on multicurrency support, I was able to add ETH - Ethereum as a custom currency. But now when I want to go in and add a new currency for another token, I'm unable to do so. I can add currencies already known to Quickbooks, but I can't find a way to create a custom currency. I was wondering if this functionality was lost or if I just don't know which rock to look under to find it.
Currently, I have two separate logins for my two businesses. The bank accounts for each business are at the same bank and when I switch between companies I have to reconnect the bank account to the second quickbooks account every time. I'm looking for a way to not lose the bank connection every time I switch accounts.
Can company information be entered to online QB from other sources?
When I open the excel spreadsheet, the names, row headings and column headings are all there, but all the cells are filled with zeros. The report looks fine in Quickbooks and it exports to a pdf OK.
My client is leaving her former bookkeeper who only worked in QB Desktop and switching to me to use QB Online. We are hoping to obtain a back up copy of the Desktop file to import into QBO but the old bookkeeper will not be able to use the "Export to Online" feature because they won't have access to the new online file. I don't have QB Desktop anymore so I can't import the file on my end and then export it from within desktop. Is there a way to upload a .QBW or QBB file into a new QBO file?
Is print the Chart of Accounts with the account numbers not available in a QuickBooks Simple Start subscription? This is ABSURDLY SIMPLE functionality that is missing, and the second ABSURDLY SIMPLE missing functionality I've found in the first 24 hours of my subscription. Please advise.
I would like to access data from QBO into excel where I can do a variety of analyses. I would like to do this in an automated way without exporting files.
I entered the password accurate and I did not change it. Why I can't sign on it?
Is there a way to customize the A/P Aging Summary Report? How can I remove the 'current' row and change '1-30' to become '0-30'?
I need to add some customers to my Quickbooks who are bringing over a credit balance. How do I enter them? Thank you,
I have 2 companies in QBO. My first location was started on QB Desktop and was converted to QBO, my second company was started Online from the beginning. The QBO layout is different for my 1st company than my 2nd company.. The largest difference I have noticed so far is when you are adding a new account, QBO is totally different. The newer company has Icons at the top to tell QBO the new account is an expense or liability etc. my older company askes what type account and if I want to make it a sub account. The main issue is I need to make sure some of my GL Accounts for both companies are exactly the same so they sync with my POINT OF SALES SYSTEM called Toast Xtrachef. Do I have an "old school" setting on one company and my new company is the newer look? The filter searches seem to bring up similar but different results as well. Is this because it is a desktop converted company?
We are trying to setup our vending business in quickbooks and want to make sure we set things up correctly from the start. We have no products, these are bar machines like pool tables, juke boxes, etc... We currently do revenue sharing where we split 50/50. I am thinking that we should set up our machines as the customers and the customers as the vendor? but not sure if this actually the best way or correct way for that matter.
