Banking

Hi I'm trying to connect my Natwest bank acc but it won't connect as it says I'm logged on, on another device. I'm not as I've made sure and have left plenty of time before trying again.It has connected at one point and downloaded my last 4 transactions from my business bank acc but nothing else.Thank you for some advice. 

Hi, So i have a question... I use Quickbooks to keep in check with my self emplyment income but i do have a second income working for a company who sort out my tax etc for me. Am i able to input that somewhere into quickbooks so it would calculate my tax due (for my self employment) more accurately? Thanks in advance.

I have recently switched two bank accounts over from NatWest, but need to upload the transactions  to quickbooks. As I've already left the bank they won't send me CSV files, so are sending the print outs in the post. Is there anyway to scan and upload these files or will I have to somehow put the details manually? I don't seem to be having much luck so far with this system as only 1 receipt out of all I've scanned has been recognised and none of my email receipts - so the process hasn't been as quick and efficient as I'd hoped.  Any advice or tips would be appreciated. 

I have managed to add my barclays personal banking accounts. No transactions have downloaded though. Is there some problem connecting to Barlcays?

Hi sorry to ask two questions at once;I am new to QB self-employed and trying to set up my bank accounts but:1. Capitalone UK gives me a 101 error every time I try to link it; I have confirmed that the log in details are correct, and have attempted to link the account in incognito browsing to no success2. HSBC is working but every time i leave QB and close the browser window when i reopen quickbooks it has disconnected and i have to fix the connection by generating a security code on my iPhone HSBC app. How do I stop the HSBC connection dropping every time I close QB?Thanks

When I add the CSV, which is a converted HSBC PDF to CSV, nothing seems to happen. It doesn't add the file and nothing changes to the site. I've tried this in several browsers and on two PCs, and there's also no pop-ups (but I've allowed Quickbooks). Would love some help!

In addition to the santander issue many of my clients are dealing with, I have been made aware today of an issue with the Tesco credit card feed.  This has not updated for 14 days now. The issue is a 324 error and my client tells me QBO were aware when she spoke to the helpline.  Are other people having this issue and what are QBO doing to resolve it?

This error is coming up when I refresh and has been like this for the last few days. Hence my Tesco bank transactions aren't keeping up to date. Please help?We are having temporary problems accessing your account. Please wait a few hours and try again.

Can someone help me out, I have student loans PLAN 2 and I want to add it to my tax profile so it calculates it as I go.For the life of me I can't seem to find a section anywhere to add it in.Thanks

Can't see my business account when I try to connect to my QB self employed. I can see my all personal accounts, however I can't see my business account and choose it.Can you help. Julija

I have tried to link my business account but each time it says that I am logged into the account on another device- which is not the case? Please can you advise me how I can link my bank account and why this error is coming up? Many thanks, Emma

I recently upgraded from premier 2013 to premier 2019 and I would like to start using the bank feed. I bank with HSBC but I am having problems linking up to QuickBooks. Most the help I can find is focused more to QuickBooks online and not desktop. Can someone please tell me what I need to do. Thanks

Hi, I can't sync my account. Says to try again in a few hours. Error code 187.  Any ideas?

Barclaycard personal have changed the login procedure and this has stopped quickbooks from connecting to the accounts. I guess the script needs to be updated.

I am trying to link HSBC business bank account to QBSE but it only looks for "personal and credit card" account and not the business account

Ive been trying to upload my previous statements but hit a wall, I've downloaded them from hsbc as a PDF as it doesn't give another option.Ive converted the files from PDF to CSV and now trying to upload but doesn't want to know any ideas 

Hi,  I have been using QB Self Employment since 2017,  I have today linked to my business bank account and now have an almost duplication of all transaction I have manually entered since last August.  Is there any way to tell QB to only link my account from this day to go forwards? Its a great shame as all transactions I have manually entered/snapping receipts etc. over the past 6 months are now sat alongside the imported transactions that don't have such.   Also going forward am I to not snap my receipts (fuel etc.) until the banking goblins work their magic over the inter web and add my transaction automatically?

I have to manually sync my QBSE with my Barclays Business account. I have just opened QBSE for my wife and hers remains synced with her Barclays Business account permanently. Why the difference?Steve

Have an On-going problem with what Quickbooks bank feed picks up and what it choices to ignore - for a couple of Months now it has decided to "Ignore" MOST but not all, Direct Debit payments to Google. It has "Ignored" a payment made to Spotify and the laugh is it has ignored the Payment to Quickbooks The Common denominator is they are all Direct Debits - and the bank is Barclays.I have raised this with Quickbooks on more than one occasion but they never come back with a solution and the LAST Insult was they closed they case because I hadn't replied - When I HAD replied informing them I was on Holiday and was unable to check 

Hi, In QuickBooks desktop for Mac 2016 version. I have logged payments by using "Receive Payments" without creating invoices and then deposited them in respective bank accounts.  Now "Accounts Receivable" is showing all that amount. I have reconciled and bank accounts looks good. All I need is to get rid of "Accounts Receivables"? How can i do that? 

I have tried numerous times to connect my barclays business account to my quickbooks site but no joy.  Can anyone help? Regards Paul Cook
