We are delighted to be able to confirm that Investigation - 'QBSE UK – "Something unexpected happened. Try again" when accessing the manage accounts in the transactions tab - Monzo / Halifax / Lloyds / Barclays/ Etsy/ Starling/ Santander', has now been RESOLVED, and that the unexpected behaviour you were experiencing has now been corrected. Nevertheless, if you are still experiencing the unusual behaviour, please clear your browsers cache and cookies, and reattempt using an incognito window, or contact our our support team for additional troubleshooting steps Still not working on Desktop, fine on the app. Have tried Firefox/Chrome/Opera and Edge and it still will not display the bank account balances, though it updates the transactions. So it's still unresolved as far as I am conerned.
On the VAT tab my returns are showing as 'accepted' rather than ‘paid’. When I record the refund it un-reconciles my transactions. Currently the 'payments' column is doubled for these VAT returns, the only way I have found to undouble the payment column is to 'record a payment' which unreconciles my bank/Quickbooks. Any help would be greatly appreciated

It was suggested that our PayPal Account should be disconnected from Bank Feeds on Quickbooks Online, due to Quickbooks not being able to convert the multi currency transactions. The transactions would then be imported by CSV file instead. I currently import NatWest Transactions using an OFX file. When the account was disconnected, it disappeared from the Banking Page, so I am unsure what to do next. How do I get this account back on to the Banking Page and can the account be added to the Banking Page without it being linked to Bank Feeds? Many thanks.
Anyone else who uses Co-Op bank feed being told that the connection needs renewing EVERY DAY!
Absolutely unable to connect my Barclays account and keep generating an error code that non existent....
I've only been using QuickBooks Online for a week. I set it all up, spent hours getiing all the balances etc in. Although it took a while I got the bank connection to Starling working but now it's stopped and after disconnecting and re-connecting a million times the bank balance no longer matches what QB has (!). Do I have to purge the company and start again? After 3 lengthly conversations on live chat I was eventually told that "lots of people" are having problems. Is that the case? Have I been sold a complete pile of trash here?
Hi,I have two separate issues...1) I have a few transactions which are showing in my bank but not showing in QB, the balances don't match because of the. I have reset the banking link a few times now and still the same transactions wont show. Started happening around 28/12/2022.2) Up until about a month ago QB would match with GoCardless deposits exactly. I now seems to have the issue that there is a difference between the amount deposited into my bank by GC and the deposit amount in QB. In order to match the payments I have to make an adjustment where I didn't before, which isn't ideal. The amount adjusted generally is the same as the VAT charged by GC on the service charge. Has something changed recently, it was all working nicely! Thanks
I've taken over this ledger (my first on QB) and find that bank accounts give a message "not ready to reconcile" when I look at that function. It then says "... fix this.." which just shows a list of trans that have been changed after the rec date. On checking I see that they have been deleted and replaced by corrected trans, so no action is needed. So I'm left puzzled, how can I fix this so that QB will allow me to reconcile? Well the simple answer is just to ignore the message. It doesn't mean the rec can't be done until QB is "ready". You can reconcile up-to-date anyway, as that will bring in the correcting transactions and show the correct current balance. So why put up the worrying message that it's "not ready" when it's perfectly simple to step over it? Say something that's less of a block, like "transactions from the last rec have changed, make sure these have been allowed for in your current rec".
"we are dealing with this" !! But how long until it's dealt with??♀️
Not sure if any one could shed some light on this or had a similar situation, I have spoken to both paypal and quickbooks about this and they don't have much idea about it. Whilst doing my end of year books, I have found a 'Mass Payment' from Intuit titled 'Intuit Payment'. This payment never appeared on my quickbook account as quickbooks only takes note on my transactions in my paypal when they are either to or from my business account and think I think it went straight into my paypal wallet. I will attach a photo of the payment line, my question is how can I find out what is inside this payment and who it is actually from, I am gathering its a bulk payment from a customer but unsure who its from. Anyone can help figure out the origin of this payment or at least where to look?
When I check the 'disconnect this account on save' button and then 'save and close' I get the error message"Something's not quite right. There was a problem saving your changes. Please try again later." Similarly if I try to make the account inactive (it is about to be closed) I get the error message"There was a problem saving your changes. Please try again later." Any ideas anyone? I need to de-link this account and then inactivate it, as it being closed at the bank.
Back in September 2022 I took out a personal loan for £12,000 to buy a van for my plumbing and heating business. What is the best way to account for this purchase? My business bank account will be paying the monthly repayments of the loan. Thank you for your help
I've contacted support on two occasions and both times it went to the "engineering" team who fob me off. I have ONE bank account connected to QBSE. In my Dashboard, there are TWO bank accounts. They are both the SAME bank account, one syncs and one doesn't. When I try to remove the duplicate bank account I only get the option to remove the one I intend to keep. The engineering team's solution is as follows: Please re-attempt to connect the bank affected previously. How can I reconnect a bank account which is already connected? I am getting the same issue on my phone, even after clearing cache and app data. Maybe someone on the forums will know how to fix this, or maybe someone higher up at QuickBooks will be able to help. Thanks in Advance.
Does quickbooks support AMEX Business Checking Bank Feeds? I can't find it in the list, so I assume no. How can I get more information about this, like if it's in progress, or if I shoud just choose another bank.
