I cut a check in FY23 for an expense that should have been recorded in FY 22. I corrected it with a FY 22 JE where I debited the expense account and credited Accounts Payable. Next, I reversed the entry at the beginning of FY 23. Now the amount is showing up as a check that needs to be paid. Can you please assist in correcting this?
Ck Deposits and ACH to my bank account are reflecting in my Sales account affecting the real sales balances, the last accountant used to match deposits in the Banking area with my Sales acct. What should I do to correct this, how to set receiving deposits to the correct acct?
I've recorded a laptop purchase as an expense. However, it does not show in my total expenses when all of them are tallied up for the year. Can anyone tell me why this is? Thank you
I have imported old transactions into QBDT. I don't know where the import went. Please help.
I have connected QB to Amazon Business and when I look at the downloaded transactions they are also pulling from my personal account. I haven't even entered the UN/PW for my personal account, so not sure how this is happening.
My bank had stopped syncing but fixed that issue. I am now missing a few weeks of transactions.
When a downloaded transaction comes up as Tranferred I always select the category button and the informatino would automatically move from TRANSFER TO to CATEGORY. Now I have to choose the category. How can I get it to do what it used to do?
With QBs desktop I just scan it in. I can't see how to do that here.
I have tried refreshing my bank account and ensured that there are no filters applied.
When i try to set up my bank to receive bank feeds, it takes me to QBs browser to access my bank. However, my bank recently updated their website and i think the QB browser is not updated to accept my banks webpage. I added a screenshot and this is as far as it gets.
Every deposit downloaded from bank uses the same reference/check # and it's maddening. Can't edit it either.
I am working in QB Desktop. It looks like QB Automatically ranks the Bank Rules as they are entered. How can I adjust the ranks they are given. If I want a specific rule Prioritized before another I don't see anyway to change that. Can anyone Help? I have seen a response in regards to "clicking the dots next to the transaction and dragging and dropping the rule". I assume that solution is for QB Online because i dont have the "dots" next to my rules!
It has been one year since I was able to connect Katahdin Federal Credit Union to my QBO system. I gave up before, but am revisiting the issue, prompted by tax preparation. We have worked for hours with QBO help and the bank. Each blaming the other for the problem - with no resolution. The bank said that in March of 2022 they changed their system, and since then customers have not been able to connect accounts to Quickbooks. The bank tech support said they have worked with QBO for a year, and QBO says its a problem on the bank side and the bank said its on the QBO side. A bank rep told me this issue had gotten elevated status in QBO tech, and still no resolution - they came back and said the problem is on the bank's end.. The bank rep did tell me she remembered one person who got it to work, but doesn't remember how. This is very important to us. We cannot do our bookkeeping if we cannot get all of our accounts on. Can anyone help us trouble sh
I need to reclassify many transactions. What is the quickest way to do this?
To whoever can read this...I have had trouble with Square and QB (someone) producing duplicate invoices so after a long battle with that and no help I disconnected invoices from QB. Now I am having trouble with linking my bank account (Bank of America) with QB. I have had trouble before with the bank connecting and now I ended up with duplicate (quickbooks forced me to make and name new account which already existed, why in the world would someone program this to do that!) and now I have duplicate old and new savings, checking, credit, etc accounts to review. Some transactions appear in an older account (which is the real one) and a whole new bunch in the "new" accounts. I hardly had the time to review them the first time. Why in theworld would I have to rename every expense, etc. if they already exist and they're labeled and reviewed. I even have the list of these already printed from Jan 31. And of course deleting these new account (if possible) will likely bring the end of times alo
I made a credit card payment for a personal credit card with my business checking account by mistake back in 2021. They were both Capital One cards and I hit the wrong bank when scheduling the payment. I'm sorry to say I had not reconciled the bank account in a long time. I now need to fix this so I can reconcile the bank account. What can I do? Thank for any suggestions.
I was successful getting all my Chase accounts redone with the new Chase Bank (All) feed, but now I cannot retrieve all the account activity together. I have to go through them one by one which is very time consuming. Is there a fix for this? I have 5 bank accounts and 12 credit card accounts that have several transactions a day. There used to be a button on the upper right corner that would bring in all transactions for all the Chase accounts but it is no longer there. I am using QuickBooks Desktop Pro Plus 2022.
