When I go onto my banking page it no longer gives me the option of entering the code once I ask it to "update"When I first go onto the page the "more information" bit comes up but only for a second then disapears! Can anyone help
I have a reconciliation that does not match. The unmatched amount is the same as a deposit download, which is incorrect according to the bank statement. When I add funds to bring the download amount to what the bank reconciliation has, it throws off the reconciliation again. Is there a way to change the amount of a downloaded deposit?

I am trying to customize a check register for our bank so I can download it as a csv file. My problem is I cannot get the account number to appear on the report. I have account name but not the account number since we have 74 LLCs with thier own bank accounts. The Bank report for positive pay needs to have the following columns -Account Number - Date - Check Number - Void - Payee Name - Amount - Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,Gerard
Quickbooks DesktopHow do I process a recall ach payment in QB desktop? The invoice the vendor sent was incorrect, I paid the amount and paid the bill in QBs. However, once I was told the invoice amount was incorrect. I was able to stop the payment in the bank and the money should be put back into our bank account. How do I record this recall payment?
Dear all, Is it possible to select your account while importing data in QuickBooks Online, similar to the way it works in the desktop version? Currently, I only see fields for date, description, and amount, and I have to manually choose the category afterward. Is there a way to preassign the category?

I have been a QB Desktop user for almost 15 years and have used American Express as our primary business card for most of them. About a year ago we switched one of our businesses to Capital One and my biggest issue, that Capital One is aware of, is that when downloading transactions it only brings over the date, merchant and amount. Whereas, American Express would download those 3 plus the cardholder name/ last 5 of the card in the "memo" tab on online banking. For our business in particular this is very important as one entity has several classes and those expenses are disbursed depending on which user's made the charge. I know of auto name rules but when we have over 1,000 transactions per month it is more efficient to enter in online banking rather than by manual credit card charge entries. Now when deciding which card to open for two new operations, we are considering Citi but wondered what everyone's input is for either having the same issue or other problems to be aler
I've tried jiggering with the Sort function as suggested in other posts - but nothing changes - Any one else have this problem? (I just upgraded my Mac to sequoia 15.01 - could that be it?)
Apparently we need to update principal officer information in order to keep access to direct deposit. I just want to change the principal officer address, not change the principal officer. I am not seeing how to do this, even after signing into our Intuit account. I see the information, but it is an old address that needs to be updated. The company address is correct.
I am unsure at this time how many transactions are effected by this problem. I found several, but not all, in one bank statement.
For Example, a loan is taken out on 1/1/24 for $XXXX, a liability account is created, and payments are recorded as they are made. Then on 4/1/24 the remaining balance of that loan is rolled into a new one from the same lender. Can I continue with the same liability account by recording the new funds in it and continuing to record payments? Or should I create a journal entry to show the loan from 1/1/24 as being paid off and then start a new liability account for the one on 4/1/24?
We had our first credit card transaction from an invoice sent to the customer. Quickbooks checking shows the deposit in the register but not in the balance of the account. How is this supposed to work?
When I RECEIVE PAYMENTS and enter the check # in the REFERENCE BOXI can do a search for that Check# and readily find it. If I do a straight DEPOSIT and enter the check# in the REFERENCE # box it cannot be found. That makes no sense to me. How can I find REFERENCE #'s I enter in a DEPOSIT?
I am working to reconcile my credit card satements in Quickbooks Online. I "Categorized" all transactions for that time period. When I went to "Reconcile", I found that 4 of the transactions that I "Categorized" are no longer there. They no longer show in "For Review", "Categorized" or "Excluded". Where did these transactions go and how do I get them back so I may "Reconcile" my account?
I don't have much room on the Deposit Summary and never use "less cash back". Paper is being wasted with one liners.
When trying to record merchant service deposits I am getting an error “A payment you are trying to download cannot be matched or recorded. Please record your merchant payments manually.”I want to be able to have this streamlined and not enter it manually. Customer service is not able to fix the issue. Thoughts??
