I know, the topic sounds a bit weird... so let me set it up with some context:My business somewhat regularly receives wire transfers from Canadian and US clients. The bank takes CAD 15 for each Canadian wire and USD 15 for each US wire. So... a payment for an invoice for USD 1000 will actually show up in my USD account as a deposit of USD 985. I then manually split the transaction into:1) Credit to USD Accounts Receivable for USD 1000, and2) Bank charge of USD 15 (recorded as a -15).All this works just fine manually, but I was hoping to automate the splitting. Unfortunately when I try to specify this in a rule, I get a "generic_error". The error goes away when I turn the USD 15 positive.Screenshot attached. So... this is probably not as much a plea to the community to help me figure it out, but rather one to QuickBooks to fix this. Just allow a negative amount, please.
This selling feature was the MAIN reason I converted from QB desktop. WHY is that it's not working with TD Bank all of a sudden. This has to be fixed.

Hi new to Quick Books Online. I linked the bank account to QB but some of the transactions from August didn't transfer over. It should have picked up entres from Aug 1st but it's only showing those from Aug 22nd onward. Any idea how to fix?
Good Afternoon, My client is buying from the US and selling in Canada. The Item Purchase price is fixed in US$ as per the supplier agreement. What should he do to insure that Items price is reflected in the purchase order (in US$) correctly regardless of the exchange rate to CAD without changing it manually every time? Kind regards
I accepted a first credit card payment using QuickBooks payments. I have the correct merchant ID but the deposit did not go through. My business is in Canada, and my customer is in Canada. The error code provided is "900" and that code is not identified in QuickBooks' table of possible reasons a deposit would be declined. I strongly suspect that QuickBooks is attempting to make an ACH payment to a Canadian bank, and we don't have ACH here. How do I get the funds deposited into my bank account in Canada?
My focus is on the bank statement (and of course impacting the bank reconciliation). We can see on our bank statement that $800 has left our account. Then, when the transfer failed, it debited our bank account. How do I account for this $800 put into our bank account? Do i create a deposit? But its not a deposit? this $800 must be recorded somehow, right? and done so without impacting the following payment (by cheque this time).
I seem to have done everything right on my quickbooks but when I go to download transactions and it asks me which account I want to download to, my bank account isn't there and the only choice I have is the AddNew. This of course results in it downloading to a new named bank account and then I have to transfer all transactions to my proper bank account. Why?
My visa card bank feed has not synchronized since November 8th.Why are my transactions not being imported into quickbooks online?
When going to the list of suppliers and choosin name of a supplier, the AP reboots
I do not want to undo transactions, I want to undo the entire time.
I would like to start fresh with the client as of September 1st of this year, how do i delete everything and start over?
Hi, I am using Quickbooks payments so that my customers can pay me using their card however my customer paid 372.90$ and Quickbooks charged me 23.09$!!! This is 6% cut!, is this normal??? I thought they charge 2.99%. Please advise
We don't invoice/bill clients using QBOnline but I want to record a single bank deposit. Is there an easy way to do that (without using Undeposited Funds)? (new to QBOnline)
