tech support has not been helpful. they only say I have reached my transaction limit. yet I have only scheduled less than 3 bills to be paid and my plan says i can do up to 40 at no charge and 50 cents thereafter. anyone experiencing something similar.
Many retirement plans including 401k and 457b are subject to Social Security (FICA) and MediCare, however... QuickBooks Online Payroll is NOT withholding those taxes. How do I correct that?

When I try to update my Unemployment Rate and try to hit Save. It says "Enter a 8-digit valid Dept of Revenue Account Number" under the account number, which I am not changing at all. If I add and delete a number from the account number to remove this message, it then says the account number can't be changed. I hope Intuit see this will fix this bug.
Paycheck option not listed, nor is money sign on app visible at the bottom screen as shown on the tutorials provided.
How do I add and a new employee who has applied for an SSN but not received it? What do I enter for the SSN so that when I print the employee's copy of the W-2 it reads "Applied for" and when I e-file W-2s the employee W-2 is filed with all zeros, per the IRS instructions?
We would not be tracking time worked for payroll processing, strictly to see how many hours they were of service
I am doing christmas bonus checks and should the amounts all be different or the same. I am starting with 500.00 then having the taxes taken out

it says that the employee profile needs attention before I can pay them but the profile is already complete.

I do not see any options to not participate in Workforce. I do not want to add this, we are a small company, most employees do not use computers or have email. How can I opt out of this service completely? BLL
Ive been looking around inside quickbooks enterprise for a way to restrict certain roles to just see specific accounts in order to reduce complexity for some employees and give them access to just a few of our expense accounts when they create bills. Is there a way to restrict this currently?
401K Catch up contributions
I have an HR person who I have given PR manager access to on QB online. She can access the payroll portion but cannot access HR assist or the Mineral portion of the HR module. Mineral can't help and QB staff is totally unaware of this module and keeps telling me I have to give them standard access which seems inappropriate as we will need to send out invites to employees to see various webinars and they just need to be registered to view the webinar not our QB. Anyone else dealing with this? I have called various QB help line and asked for call backs but no one can help me other than tell me PR manager access isn't sufficient. I do need some answers if anyone has them. Thank you in advance.
I go thru and select the paychecks I want to print and select print. It prints almost all of them and then starts over and prints them all again and the 2nd time it prints every one I selected. The first time it prints all but a few at the end of the list.
My desktop file was converted to online with no issues noted. I have been using using QB Payroll for several years. Several customer support people helped me through the conversion and setup ( I kept getting passed around for various reasons). During the Payroll Setup stage I was told to accept al the default settings. I didn't realize that the system was not using any of my existing payroll accounts and nobody asked me about it. As a result, QB put the payroll expenses into completely different accounts. I now have payroll information in two different places - nine months in the old locations and one month in the new. The liability accounts now don't match up because everything I do online goes into the new locations, and it won't/can't read any information from the old accounts. Reports are also unhelpful.
