If I change the Pension back to the incorrect pension plan and recalculate the employee, it deducts the pension amounts correctly, but obviously I don;t want it to be in this pension plan. Is there a procedure required for changing the pension plan that I need to go through?

I have just set up payroll for the first time (using Standard Payroll in Quickbooks Online). My staff are paid weekly in cash, so ideally I'd like the payroll payments to come out "Undeposited Funds" (we're a cash-based business). I understand this isn't possible, so for the journal entries, Quickbooks is picking a random bank account that we don't use anymore. For the time being, I'm going into the journal entry and changing the random bank account to "undeposited funds" which seems to work. But I was wondering if there was a more efficient way of doing it? Many thanksLaura
I've set up pension sync I believe correctly, every time I run pay roll it says: "There are no pensionsync jobs for this Pay Run" It shows penison amount on employee pay, in the pension settings it shows employee is linked to pension scheme. I've tried un-assigning pensions, so i can delete scheme and re-import but still have same issue. Please can someone help I'm using quickbooks advanced payroll.
The amount tends to be different each month but I want to have all the cost centres coded so that it will be quicker to enter the transaction under the different cost centres. Can I use the rules feature for this?
Hi, I've recently migrated from QBDT to QBO Essentials with Advanced payroll. As part of the process to step employees it appears to send them an email which they then follow a link and complete their information. We then receive an email to "Review and Authorise" the details added by the employee. Clicking on the "review and authorise" link opens a browser that asks us to log in to "YourPayroll". Our normal QB Online user/password doesn't work with it. How do we log in and what is "YourPayroll" as the way its written it appears to be a separate service not part of QB Advanced payroll? Do we have to use these emails or can we just complete all employee details from within QB Online? Thanks, Phill.
M1 of the new system. I see Payroll now enters all the journals and creates a balance for nett wages in a new account simply called 'Payment' and the pension contributions in various new pension accounts by the look of it. How do I actually record payment of the nett wages and the pension payment to the current account? I was kind of hoping this would be automated some how? Thanks
